Let me comment on this as a theistic evolutionist. The past is testable, insofar we can make predictions to future experiment observations. Truthfully, evolution is still a developing science, and while we can posit that we are the product of evolution given archaeological evidence and studies conducted in conjunction with biology, we ultimately don't have a verifiable past of evolutionary theory that is testable.

There are hundreds of billions of galaxies out there, each with billions of stars, and untold number of planets orbiting each... you do the math. Look up "drake's equation".
Does it make sense to you that earth is the only planet out there with life on it?

I say personally that as long as its outside of human understanding, its a null point.
We don't need to think 'whether he exists or not', because no matter how you look at it, it won't matter.
Say he does exist for a second, there are two possibilities (accounting scripture*) either he is a totalitarian and forces us to worship him, or else* Or he doesn't care about whether we worship him and accepts us anyway.
Then theres the fact that he may not exist, thus it doesn't matter when we die.
