  • I saw this band in 1986 at Lichfield enotts club and the next day I was catching the bus to Walsall and the band got on the bus and the lead singer nodded to me. I was amazed he recognised me.

  • I knew the Sea Urchin since the 80s but never heard of this song, thanks to youtube, now I think of this song all the time.

  • Hei, har kjøpt denne på vinyl, har ikke turt å spille den enda? De kom jo ikke til Åmål !!!!! Dag (I have this record on vinyl. I dare not to play it,,they were booked by Åmål Bluesfest,Sweden, july 2011, Listen to Vinterhagen and Erter,Kjøtt og Flesk)

  • This is beautiful. God I love Sarah Records (Bringing us this AND the field mice)

  • Class

  • when indie was indie

  • first heard this on john peel back in 87. my bedroom was filled with pure soul, passion & beauty. saw them live a few times & loved their charity shop psychedelic mod image.

  • sweet, video done with love too!

  • thanks for posting sarah sounds

  • just a classic pop tune totally wonderful... go! tremolo go!

  • Stone Roses :D

  • so great to hear this very beautiful song again :-) thank you!!!

  • They didn't have a video for this when it was on the chart show I remember...I bought it first week of release, some switched on person at the Hereford Our Price store ordered it in (and the other first few Sarah releases). I sold it for quite a few quid in 1992, I wish I hadn't but my girlfriend (now wife) asssured me she had her copy (someone nicked it). I went to see 'em a few times and they were great, the singer (James was it?) had a great voice

  • Following on from above the bands real killer was always Solace, one of my favourite songs of all time. I seriously don't think she's guys knew how good they were. And Please Don't Cry, what a tune!

  • i wake up to this song everyday. along with lone pigeon and drive-by truckers

  • In fact the nostalagia is enough to make me weep !

  • ahhhh - the days of complete unspoile dinnocence- I used to own this record.

  • Thanks to all them burner bands who show us little indians how to make good fire!!!

  • I loved all the Sarah records stuff, still have all the fanzines and flexidiscs. This is a fantastic track. Thanks for posting.

  • incredible. Pity nobody in my highschool likes good 80s jangle indie. Pure class.

  • thank thank you thank you

    SARAH RECORDS 4EVER

  • agreed. it was either this or rick astley.

  • 名曲! 誰かbrighterを!

  • Thanx for putting it up!!!!!!!

Is it my idea, or many greek people got excited with this video?

  • u r so right sarah records was something great u could go to the bars of salonica like residents or lucky luke and hear a lot of sarah racords songs such as this or atta girl by heavenly sensitive and more

  • one of the greatest tunes of the modern times! fucking timeless!

  • agreed. so few of us probably appreciate it, too!

  • 21 years ago.... it seems like yesterday to me.

  • unbelieveable isn't it? in 1985 I was listening to smiths. The mop top beatles were 20 years before that but that seemed like a hundred years before moz!!. Fuck life goes by fast. I feel like I haven't even lived. Kinda sad. any way. great band!!!

  • Oh dear, that's exactly what's going through my mind from time to time as well. I once was told, the first 20 years of your life appear as long as the complete rest of it and I'm afraid, I have to agree the older I get.

However, I still love this 80s Indie stuff!

  • yeah more time has passed between moz and now than between the beatles and moz. i'm not good at math but you get the point.

  • More time has passed between this tune and now than between the end of World War II and the Beatles. HELP!

  • When Indie music was proper shambletastic! Ah, those halcyon shoe gazing days..hope I'll find 'Please Rain Fall' - what a great band they were..

  • I love this song....reminds me of Uni days and silly haircuts!

  • long live sarah, another classic :)

  • Brilliant - anyone seen 'Please Rain Fall' or 'Summershine' on here? I'm going to dig ouy my copy of Saraopoloy! Who fancies a game? :)

  • A real Sarah classic!

  • 21 years ago? mad - but just as wonderful a song as when it came out - check out The Springfields track i've uploaded - time for a C86 Sarah revival!
