I saw this band in 1986 at Lichfield enotts club and the next day I was catching the bus to Walsall and the band got on the bus and the lead singer nodded to me. I was amazed he recognised me.
Hei, har kjøpt denne på vinyl, har ikke turt å spille den enda? De kom jo ikke til Åmål !!!!! Dag (I have this record on vinyl. I dare not to play it,,they were booked by Åmål Bluesfest,Sweden, july 2011, Listen to Vinterhagen and Erter,Kjøtt og Flesk)
first heard this on john peel back in 87. my bedroom was filled with pure soul, passion & beauty. saw them live a few times & loved their charity shop psychedelic mod image.
They didn't have a video for this when it was on the chart show I remember...I bought it first week of release, some switched on person at the Hereford Our Price store ordered it in (and the other first few Sarah releases). I sold it for quite a few quid in 1992, I wish I hadn't but my girlfriend (now wife) asssured me she had her copy (someone nicked it). I went to see 'em a few times and they were great, the singer (James was it?) had a great voice
Following on from above the bands real killer was always Solace, one of my favourite songs of all time. I seriously don't think she's guys knew how good they were. And Please Don't Cry, what a tune!
u r so right sarah records was something great u could go to the bars of salonica like residents or lucky luke and hear a lot of sarah racords songs such as this or atta girl by heavenly sensitive and more
unbelieveable isn't it? in 1985 I was listening to smiths. The mop top beatles were 20 years before that but that seemed like a hundred years before moz!!. Fuck life goes by fast. I feel like I haven't even lived. Kinda sad. any way. great band!!!
Oh dear, that's exactly what's going through my mind from time to time as well. I once was told, the first 20 years of your life appear as long as the complete rest of it and I'm afraid, I have to agree the older I get.

However, I still love this 80s Indie stuff!

yeah more time has passed between moz and now than between the beatles and moz. i'm not good at math but you get the point.

More time has passed between this tune and now than between the end of World War II and the Beatles. HELP!
