Mr Cohen can't really sing. He has a voice, like mine, that soothes, and words that make the description of the way some of us tear ourselves apart, sound like poetry. I've unwaveringly liked Leonard cohen since I was 17. I'm thankful I still have his first LP on vinyl from all those years ago. Who read "Beautiful losers"? I think I was 18 then.
