apparently this takes place "many lifetimes in the future" compared to portal 1, so it occurs after the whole half life saga ends unless they have another time bending event in HL3 like in HL2 which pauses time for like 200 years or something so HL3 finishes after portal anyway.. unlikely though

A lot of fans have been emailing me about our decision to delay the game, and I think we should tell our fans because of the dedication you have had to us since Half-Life 1.

Most of the game was actually Jonathan Coulton songs, but we recently got in an argument with him, where we called him poor and Irish, and he demanded all of the 50 songs he recorded be taken out, this changed the game dramatically. Look forward to E3 next year. Portal 2 release date! ~ Gabe

Zoey5Rochelle, lets say you like the movie "Inglorious Bastards" and I say I hated it. We're opinionated, one way or another, in what we're saying, and thus biased. I will say I'm not a big fan of the PS3 either, but it does have some good games, and many of the owners are genuinely happy with their decision to own one, just like many are with the 360 or PC.

Saying it doesn't deserve any VALVe games is like saying Texas doesn't deserve air due to rednecks.

i wouldn’t buy this game anyways, but what i said is most likely the problem.

Coding games for the ps3 is much harder than for the xbox. Most games are coded for the xbox and then ported over, but the CPU system of the ps3 is very complex (and much better if taken advantage of properly, uncharted 2 is an example), so universal games look worse on the PS3. Valve might be trying to make the game run natively, or at least make it of equal quality on the PS3.
