One of the best movies EVER made! This montage brought tears to my eyes...wonderful job, Jonno1980. To me this movie is about true, pure love and the way it affects your life. The gender of the lead characters is irrelevant...the way they bring out the love, emotions, pain, angst and fear is amazing. Undoubtedly the best love story ever.

I thought the movie was great. But my liberal-ness stops there. This movie is fiction and that was the only reason I was not disgusted with it.
I have gay friends and I'm okay with them but NO ONE in my family is gay, because they are disowned the moment that they decide this sort of thing should be anywhere else then in a fictional movie.

i know the kissing scenes between heath and jake can be a little disturbing to some.

im bi and i was curious to see if this was any good. i saw BBM for the first time tonight. its like no other "romance" movie i've seen. i enjoyed this movie from start to finish. i was crying throughout the film, the ending had me bawling like a baby. one of my fav movies ever.
this movie was beautiful, and so truthfully loving. Heath acted amazingly...his quietness, his expressions, his affection for Jack--it was all wonderful. I am so thankful that he had time to make some truly important films before his horrible death. After I saw "The Dark Knight," I had to cry for awhile in the knowledge that such a beautiful human being could possibly be gone. He was the kind of person that made me happy to be in the human race. His art was that incredible.
He was physically sick that Jack was leaving. His character had a hard time dealing with the fact that he was atttracted to another man. Jack died when we was beaten up by a bunch of cowboys after he took up with another man when he and Heath broke up. Heath got a letter returned saying that Jack was deceased. He speaks to Jack's wife and she tells him that Jack died while changing his tire on the side of the road, but the scene is shown where Jack is beaten to death.
The song is by Thomas Newman from the movie Road to Perdition. And I agree with mydecember512...the cowboy thing is sexy. That's why I'm a proud southerner!
I've never seen Road To Perdition so as a conseguence I've never heard the soundtrack, but I remember Newman's style...because I know Finding Nemo's Soundtrack (and others composed by Newman)...

i know the kissing scenes between heath and jake can be a little disturbing to some.
but strangely...i was...hmm...its hard to think of the right word..."touched" by it, i guess you could say. maybe it was the music in combination with the visuals but it all kind of made me tear up a little.

I've got 16 years too and my mom said that this movie is too serious for me. But I watched it anyway and you should do the same. This movie is beautiful and I'm happy that I watched it.

Speaking s a mum myself,if your mum has seen the film,you may have to respect her wishes.If she hasn't,I would advise her to do so, it's amazing.I have no problem at all with my daughter seeing it,she's nearly 16, with a hint of warning that 2 or 3 scenes might upset her. She's pretty tough but I know she'll cry when she watches it. It's rated 15 in the UK so she could legally watch it anyway,what it is where you are? One thing is certain, its the most beautiful film ever made.

im bi and i was curious to see if this was any good. i saw BBM for the first time tonight. its like no other "romance" movie i've seen. i enjoyed this movie from start to finish. i was crying throughout the film, the ending had me bawling like a baby. one of my fav movies ever.

this movie was beautiful, and so truthfully loving. Heath acted amazingly...his quietness, his expressions, his affection for Jack--it was all wonderful. I am so thankful that he had time to make some truly important films before his horrible death. After I saw "The Dark Knight," I had to cry for awhile in the knowledge that such a beautiful human being could possibly be gone. He was the kind of person that made me happy to be in the human race. His art was that incredible.

He was physically sick that Jack was leaving. His character had a hard time dealing with the fact that he was atttracted to another man. Jack died when we was beaten up by a bunch of cowboys after he took up with another man when he and Heath broke up. Heath got a letter returned saying that Jack was deceased. He speaks to Jack's wife and she tells him that Jack died while changing his tire on the side of the road, but the scene is shown where Jack is beaten to death.

The song is by Thomas Newman from the movie Road to Perdition. And I agree with mydecember512...the cowboy thing is sexy. That's why I'm a proud southerner!

I've never seen Road To Perdition so as a conseguence I've never heard the soundtrack, but I remember Newman's style...because I know Finding Nemo's Soundtrack (and others composed by Newman)...
I like this video, because this score is perfect with the sequences of the movie that I love so much...

I know what it is like to be in love with someone you can't have. The emotions are so familiar to me and tough to see on the screen. Two of my homophobic would not even go with me to see it. They missed on the beautiful scenery and the bond of love they shared. Tragic what happened on the screen and in real life.

Most people keep switching back and forth in relationships, thinking that they have been in love, or will be in love, while love is nothing replaceable or forgettable or defineable. It transcends everything that we can put to words or categorize. This movie is about that.

I hear you rejectedchik89 I couldn't find anyone either so I went alone and watched it. I was in awe of the scenery and cried as they fell in love and more when they had to be apart and the tragic way it ended and more now that Heath L. is gone forever. He will always be alive in his movies and in our hearts. No ignorant cruel words can take that from all of us who loved "Brokeback Mountain" and Heath Ledger-may he hear our cries and feel the love in our memories of him.

I just watched the movie guys. And even though I am a woman, straight.. I love it. This movie is all about two people falling in love, but they can't express their feelings because of the life they live. It is so sad and heartbreaking. I hate it when people judge it because of their gender and them being gay! The love is so strong and great to see, and finally a movie from Hollywood that is different and not about a man and a woman getting together. cause that is old!

stop proselytizing. your relationship with your religion is your own business, no one else's, unless they ask for your opinion, which I don't think anyone on this page did or would do. Sermonizing at people who don't ask is not only useless but annoying and in many cases has the opposite effect you are looking for. So please, go do something else to make yourself feel good about your faith. read the bible or something.
