While that'd be awesome, I'd actually like to see Tommy Karevik as their singer. I loved the sound of his voice when he was touring with them as a guest singer. I'm not saying Fabio isn't suited as Kamelot's new singer, I just think it would be a huge shame if he left Rhapsody.

@silenos1993 He didn't leave the band because of issues with them. He left the band because he's suffering from dementia and depression. He left the band because he could barely bring himself to the studio to write and record, let alone go on tour. He left them, so they could live on, rather than fading back into obscurity with him.

At least this way there is a chance they can survive. And, the way I see things, it seems quite likely that Fabio Lione will be their new singer.

I think that the only Metal dual-vocalist performance that rivals this work of pure genius is, incredibly enough, an earlier one by Roy and Simone - The Haunting, of course - both are incredible! Why do you think they collaborated again? :) One such work is great enough, but to prove you can do it repeatedly?!?!?! Both are great on their own, but together they make something that simply can't be described...no words are good enough.

@12345smith67890 Yeah I was devastated when I heard...they were at the top of my list to see live and a few months ago I was actually getting ready to buy tickets to their show in New York City (for August 30th this year) when I found out. It sucks so much - the band is of course very talented and like-able on their own but he really defined them and took things to the next level of awesomeness. I lost my only chance to go, and it would have been the best with some of their new songs, too :'(

I don't know how it is with other people, but Kamelot is 1 of the 3 bands that manage to hit the right spot with every song. The others are Epica and Rhapsody of Fire.
