@TheeDon323 yup in the first player game what you start depends on what u do in the story mode and what u purchase on the ship and what the mission gives you for structures. But in multiplayer you start with 6 harvesters and your main building which is tasked with receiving the minerals and building more gathering and construction units. You then use the minerals to build buildings which can either form fighting units of many diff powers or power up ur units

It has been 12 years and the original starcraft is still being played to this day because of the outstanding gameplay. Both storyline and multiplayer is amazing and the feeling of the fans for this game is very nostalgic.

You'll notice there's also the traditional medics mixed in with the marines in this preview (you can hear their death cries at the part where they're fighting the golems), but the only medic in the beta (afaik) is the medivac.

ya, acording to blizzard they arnt taking anything away from the old games for the campaign becids maby 1 or 2 units. but things like medics, firebats(the fat red unit you saw in the video) and goliaths and wraiths, you name it

They were, but I think Blizzard simply removed them later on due to one issue or another. I really hoped Blizzard would keep the standard medic from SC1, it takes much too long to get medivacs for M&Ms.

First of all, lay off the offense. Second of all, in SC1 all you had to do was build an Academy, and boom you've got Medics. This made it easy to get an effective military early on.

Then, the expansions will simply be built on the "core" game, so they will be cheaper. Kinda like how brood wars and frozen throne and every other expansion/DLC out there was cheaper than the original... you're still looking at around $100 bucks total though, but not 60 times 3 which is $180
