are you thinking of Abigail's Tea Room? It was taken over by someone else last year. I've heard rumors it's already out of business. There's also Sloopy's, The Patio, Coffee & Cream & a couple more.

i go to lakeside every summer. I remember the windy days like that when theres white caps. I went to the edge and a huge wave hit me. lol
