What are the odds in favor of drawing a card lower than a 7 from an ordinary deck of cards? (Assume ace is the highest face card.)

    _____to_____

  • @sailorgenisage Lower than 6 from an ordinary deck of 52 cards = the number of cards that is 5 or less = 16/52 = 4/13 = 4 to 13 or 16 to 52. To put that in precentage it's 4/13 x 100 which gives us 30.76923077%. In conclusion, every card you draw from an untouch 52 card deck has a 30.76923077% chance of being lower than 6. Apply the same maths to lower than 7 also.
