I 'm NOT taking away the fact regarding the longevity of her career. I simply stated the fact that Dionne is/was threatened by Patti's powerful voice. Don't get me wrong, I like the early music Dionne was part of. She was great with her style of singing, but she was simply miffed about the powerhouse vocals of Miss Patti is all. Again, I am NOT disputing the career of DW, but you have to admit that human nature being what it is, is the fact that people do become threatened & jealous of others

I'm so glad I found this one here! Although Karyn's version remains my fave, this one was very good and Patti is sooooo welcome to that line about the juice being sour!!!! Ha ha!!!! She just brings life to everything she touches!!!!! Does anyone know how this did on the charts?
