@missAlessa2009 your doing the math wrong theres never an age too young to do something or too old to do something think if it was in 2009 and she was 5 we are in 2011 so she'd be 7 or just turning 8 DUHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! dumbass dont hate cuz shes makin it better in life than you
@JusticeQueen10 She would be twelve in 2016; 7 or 8 right now. She would only be eligible for Junior competition, not for Senior. You have to be turning sixteen the year of the olympics to be eligible. Do some research.
@missAlessa2009 bitch stfu you act like a smarty pants all the time my point was you said if she were 5 in 2009 then shed she 12 this year no 2011-2009 that means shed be 7 or 8
@JusticeQueen10 Maybe I wasn't clear in my first point. She would be twelve in 2016, and seven or eight this year. I'm not being a smarty pants; that's just the facts.

What's with all the makeup, hairstyles, and fancy costumes?? What is this, an athletic competition, or a beauty pagent?? This is too much like "Toddlers & Tiaras' on TLC. The sport has lost its focus due to the bad influence from Russia.
nice to see so many talented girls of different ages training with a pleasure. Kanaeva, siberian girl, 19 years old, took all gold possible on the last World Championship.
Im a person that believes in letting children being children. If that makes me dramatic, then yes. And overly dramatic? The person saying that these kids HAVE TO win is being overly dramatic!
your statement to me was overly dramatic...bringing up sexual assault is pretty damn dramatic
the gymnastic coach is referencing her desire to win and projecting it on to her students, that is what every good coach should do, strive for greatness and attempt to attain perfection in a very technical sport.these "slaves" as youre referring to are probably better off where they are than in poor villages.nothing in this video indicates they the gymnasts are slaves or abused.
because these girls enjoy what they are doing, and no one`s forcing them to do it, did you hear that little girl was saying? she said her dream was being champion. if you dont have any personal experience then you should not say someone was stealing their childhood coz you dont know the feeling like desire to be champion
yeah and they dont ever seem to go away!! it's incredibly how many people try to force their ideals and values on other people...and on other f'n nations too!! seems peace will come when we just leave eachother the fuck alone and mind our own business...not saying that let murder and anarchy run amuck...but gawd damn there's common sense and then there's rampant ignorance
We are americans we don't want to see this shit and whas goin down in Russia!

The commentators' math sucks. If this was from 2009 and Nastia was 5, she would be 12 years old, too young for the olympics.

One should ask him-/herself where the line is between child abuse and hard work...
rugbyanden 2 years ago
you should ask yourself to mind your own business
MaladaptiveCatalyst 2 years ago 2
Do you say that to people that opposes other forms of child abuse such as children being beaten or sexually assaulted?
rugbyanden 2 years ago
wow you're an overly dramatic person, aren't you?

Stealing someones childhood is every bit as much a psychological abuse as being beaten is a physical abuse!

are you speaking from personal experience?

no why?

@balletlover159
exactly, I would feel like my childhood got stolen if I'd had a dream like that and someone stopped me from doing all those training.
lampuiho 10 months ago
i see you have very sad personal experience on the contrary to those girls in that sport school. training is just a part of their full scale lives.
