The kid is Back! My favorite player of all time! Talk about a 5 tool guy! Back in his heyday he had it all, the arm, the glove, the bat, the wheels, AND the smarts. He'll still produce and fill the seats. Griffey stands for all that's good and pure in baseball. Long live "The Natural" the sweetest swing baseball has ever, will ever see.

Do you understand that his "new" contract with Seattle is based on attendance insentives. Not if he preforms or contributes to wins..just wether or not the seats are full. He didnt choose us he could never play full time in Atlanta. He left us with a huge stadium tax and called Cincy "home". Now our Seattle fans welcome him back with open arms. How does that help our Mariners win? What a joke and PR stunt. Do you hear Cincy fans crying because he's gone?....NO!!

Winning games actually contributes to an increases in attendance. He left to be closer to his kids...I can't argue with that. I'm going to enjoy seeing him play again in a Mariners uniform. I don't like the business aspect of baseball any more than you do, but it comes with the territory. Besides, Seattle needs something to look forward to and this is perfect.

amen brother, I can't wait to buy opening day tickets, I remember the first time my dad took my to a mariners game, The Kingdome was heaven for me. I can't wait to see Jr. Back in Mariner blue and white. What an amazing day.
