The people who run them in the States make up all kinds of unnecessary costs to "maximize profits" by ripping people off. No other developed country allows this. They take peoples money to "bank" it in case you need it when you DO get sick, but then they refuse to pay it to those doctors when you need it if it costs too much. So you suffer and die while they keep all the money you paid in.

If it happens then it's paid for through that fund. Health insurance companies are paid in trust to pay for whatever needs covering in the case of it ever happening, but they've taken a lot of peoples money and refused to pay it out when needed. You obviously don't know what goes on in your backyard.

You literally understand nothing about the occupy movement. No one is trying to steal anything. No one is hating people because they are rich. What they are against is the corruption of our political system. The movement is not a band of lazy people trying to steal money from successful people. It is about successful and educated people whose employment needs are not being met because a minority of richer and slightly more successful people have bought out our politicians.

@brwneyesaz no the middle class which has many millonares and very well off people do not connect with the poor. we are no t in the same , we are created equal but quickly become very diffferent and this is a very good thing.

@Lynx787 insurance is not a right nor is medical care, if you run up a big bill you must pay it. this has nothing to do with crony capitalism. nobody got rich off of anybody's suffering , doctors provide services and expect to get paid , period. your way off base on this.

@circusboy90210 Insurance companies stand between the sick and the doctors who help them. The people who run them in the States make up all kinds of unnecessary costs to "maximize profits" by ripping people off. No other developed country allows this. They take peoples money to "bank" it in case you need it when you DO get sick, but then they refuse to pay it to those doctors when you need it if it costs too much. So you suffer and die while they keep all the money you paid in.

@Lynx787 no insurance companies help the sick pay the bills. the cost are minimized by the insurance company telling the phsyician they are only going to pay standard rates for procedures. you obviously don't live here in the states or you would know different.

@circusboy90210 Do you know nothing of how insurance is supposed to work? In car insurance you pay a certain amount a month to cover such things as accidents, thefts and the like. If it happens then it's paid for through that fund. Health insurance companies are paid in trust to pay for whatever needs covering in the case of it ever happening, but they've taken a lot of peoples money and refused to pay it out when needed. You obviously don't know what goes on in your backyard.
