We do love this stuff, but the 70's were really KISS's era. Unfortunately, the 80's marked a decline in sales/popularity of KISS due to the fact that they got lumped into the rest of the hair metal lot. Their music (although still basically KISS at the core) and their "look" was adopted from everyone from Bon Jovi, to Cinderella, to Ratt, Poison, etc. They had a hard time distinguishing themselves from the rest of the 80's glammers. Was KISS more popular in England in the 80's?

Crazy Nights was a success in the uk....the single 'Crazy Nights' reached No4 in the UK charts.....that song always features on vh1 classic when its an 80's hour or whatever....i think that 'Crazy Nights', 'Turn on The Night' and 'Reason To Live' are amongst Kiss's best work.....i was just surprised that they didnt do as good in America.....thanks for the explanation...i can understand now....thanks
