Any. You get timecode vinyl to put on whatever table you're using.

Have you had any of the problems with popping or glitching from the soundcard? I am thinking of picking one of these up, but I keep seeing that problem arise for ppl.

Nope no problems for me, and i use it as a bedroom setup and with PA where i DJ!

hi, never had that problem myself, although i did have problems with the mac drivers that where included on the CD had to update the firmware and download new drivers after that it works great i highly recommend the RMX.

Try getting software other than VDJ, It helped me.

Traktor is incredible with the RMX. VirtualDJ is a POS to start with so...

I Think its a very good console, i use it very often and havent had one problem with it. Makes using Virtual DJ 100x Better! i also use this console when i Dj at a local club! im not exactly sure on the differences on te control steel and the RMX! ;)

Hi, yeah you can run anything with RCA's through it, ie. CDJ's iPod's etc.

RMX has: Onboard sound, other inputs for vinyl or cdj or a mic

Steel has: couple more LED lit lights, slightly better layout on the top left /relooper area (since theres more room not having a soundcard and thus mic input area.. check out top views of both on google images and compare) and looks cooler side by side

@Mauritiobloem Hi, i'm also thinking of getting the control steel version too and your choice would be based on your experience e.g. if you are really experienced the rmx is the most expensive but you need to be familiar with most of the commands, but with the control steel its good for proffessionalsand it ranges around £160 in the UK, on the other hand, i would get control steel if you are a beginner because the dj control MP3 e2 (£75 - £100)is pretty bare and does not have many features.

Tell me one thing..the 6 effects buttons you can config loop right?

someone tell me i can put LOOP IN and LOOP OUT.... I can´t put for example: "loop 1 beat"; "loop 2 beats"; "loop 4 beats" on config in virtual dj or i can only put "LOOP IN" and "LOOP OUT"????

I have HERCULES DJ CONTROL MP3 (the first) and with her, loops are automatic and i use it a lot!!!!

Thanks, you can only Loop in and Loop out. as long as you have the loop lock on, you can set the loop by 1,2,4,8,16,32 etc but you have to "loop out" buy counting or knowing where roughly you want to loop. if you want to loop something that doesnt loop correctly with the loop lock on, try turning it off, and looping manualy. And no you cant select loop 1 loop2 loop4 loop8 etc, unfortunately. hope this helps *thumbs*

when you did this mix did you use pitch control or did you use sync mode

Both mate, used the pitch controler to up the beat slightly while it was playing, so its not as noticable as a big jump in pitch from pressing the Sync button. if your having trouble setting the pitch with the controler, go to options and set the amount of % ;)

Yes, under the crossfader on the Virtual DJ interface, you have 4 boxes [Browser] [Sampler] [Effects] [Record] Click on Record, then you have 3 more options, [Record File] [Burn CD] [Broadcast]

Choose record file, then choose a save location for it.
