Can you make a tutorial on how to separate the power supply from the motherboard while still being able to power the ps3, like your did in this video? My power supply gets extremely hot in just a few minutes and I have had to fix the YLOD twice already. Thanks

the power supply is what heats up the ps3 so bad to where the paste dries out and the gpu and cpu loses contact with the heat sink.

i have the same idea my ps3 is 20gb model and its shuts down after a few minutes or hours depending on the game sometimes even in less than 15min. If i change the power supply would it mean that the ps3 is not going to overheat? because the currently power supply is becoming hot after a few minutes

how can u tell if ur powersupply is bad or just do what they say on utbe how to fix ylod
