i remember my first whiting i was fishing on the beach with sand worms and found a nice gutter away from the waves and hooked on to a nice horse we call big whiting in queensland horses i fought really hard and i ended up a bag of em thier really nice eating fish
Obviously the mouth of the logan river. I had a personal tour of the Snyder glas factory before they sold out when my great uncle was making rods from their blanks and i bet they arent made with the same heart like they used to be.
Wheres the Alveys ? its not whiting fishing without Alveys
I wouldn't be using that setup to catch whiting on the sand flats from a land based position, especially if there was no current. Fish light, tiny ball sinker, one or two red beads resting on a long shank hook has always done me well!
@Mark5Fish Thanks Mark, I hope this video helps you land a few big ones. The new range of Snyder Glas rods should be ready for the public closer to Xmas this year.
