M. trumani was the most similar to true cheetahs in morphology. Living on the prairies and plains of western America, it was likely a predator of hoofed plains animals such as the pronghorn. In fact, predation by Miracinonyx is thought to be the reason that pronghorns evolved to run so swiftly, their 60 mph top speed being much more than needed to outrun extant American predators such as cougars and gray wolves. I live in redcliff too, and there is hardly ever a time you drive past there and you dont see at least one. its way cool. also latelly a bit back there on that paice of land, you can see a phesant(dont know how to spell it..) and a owl(extinct kind....checked that al out..) and a bunch of deer. its so cool.if your lucky there are even snakes... and this is just off the ditch on the main road to and from redcliff(the only one right now...)

You had a pile of them there, is that near where you live? That would be pretty kuel to have those hanging around the yard!
