  • And ya know I was there, lol.Have it.

  • it was always better when you had no idea where you were goin till you got there.

  • Anybody know the name of the electro track at 2:50?

  • @nedlawless

Bizz nizz - don't miss the partyline

  • I started going raves and free parties from 1990 onwards..one of the reports say these were criminal acts..all I wanted to do was dance and cuddle and gurn my face off.,.what a criminal huh?

  • anyone know the name of the first track?

  • @XXMaxuchisssXX

    Lee marrow - pain

  • Totally for using substance to get more PLUR<3

But honestly if you've ever been to one of these things you know its not all about the drugs, even though thats what the government is trying to get everyone to think.

Even in this video is says 30 people were arrested. That includes possession AND the dumbasses who desecrate the awesome venues. 30 people out of the massive amount of people isnt a very big number.

If you've been then you know literally thousands of people converge on these things

  • anyone know the very first track?

  • all lies!!!!!!

  • Yeah! acid house parties ruined my life, WHEN THE COPPERS WOULD STOP THEM" HAHAHAHA!. what a load of crap, everyone was having so much fun with each other, it only got ugly when the authorities made it that way, they never stopped us did they, our legacy rolls on.

  • Dont ya just love the media - absolute bollox - Look at Jack Straw!!!!!!!! What a cock - none of the propaganda was true of course - but it's all a bit weird watching all that shit from 20 yrs ago.. savage. Missed. Twenty years ago!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • these days are still here!, you just have to find the crowd!

  • the best warehouse keys are boltcutters

  • whoa how did I miss that before... police found 2,000lbs of drgs after that party... so everyone had lb of drugs on them then?

  • @raver1342 he means £'s. As in currrency, not weight. lol

  • Great post. We never had to deal with such heavy handed police tactics in San Francisco. I think that the Brit transplants that jump started the scene here had learned how to avoid the coppers. If a party was raided it was moved to a back spot within a few hours that extended the party to dawn.

  • @leftcoastrider73

Yeah, back in the early 90's in Los Angeles, promoters would often rent out a location from an unsuspecting owner, saying that they were gonna use it for a movie premier party or some other bullsh!t story like that, and boom! Warehouse full of 5000 ravers. Or just bust the lock, and sound systems in the beds of pickup trucks loaded against the docks, ready for a hasty exit. Wasn't till the mid/late 90's when promoters started calling the cops on each other, then truly over.

  • @gregs76 Some promoters even called on themselves.

undercovers and other macabre acts. My reign were the late 90s. I caught the tail end.

  • "eldery people whose lives have been ruined because of acid house" ... give me a fucking break! what dirty rat bastard!

  • Is he the same Jack Straw who ruined millions of Iraqis? elderly, women and children...

  • Good times :D

    Great vid 5/5 :)

  • nazis

  • Great footage. I've been trying to find that tune in the backgorund. Does anyone know it? Thanks

  • Bizz Nizz - Don't Miss The Partyline

  • Thanks mate appreciate it...

  • Oh and right at the end it's D Shake ~ Yaaah (freestyle mix)

  • good shout, wicked vid. the parties are still happening anyway, every weekend!!!!

  • fabulous piece of footage. what amazing times they were.

  • I was in the ITN news clip! Those robo cops wer animals that night. As for local cop shops I was on my way to fkin Hull a litte gaff called east or west Kirby. 40 notes for a 20 mile taxi trip back to Morley. And all the SHIT on the floor as they wer loading us in the vans was outa this world!!! Bags a powder, pils, hash, green it was hard to just walk on LOL

  • The gov't want you to leave school, get a job in a factory, work your fingers to the bone all week and pay income tax. Then spend your money in pubs and clubs all weekend which is also heavily taxed.

Ecstacy freed your mind from all that crap and filled everyone with an unquashable positivity. But the gov't get no tax from raves and drugs so they had to stamp it out giving the police a free and passing new laws.

We were free for a while :)

  • Did you hear what that piece of shit Jack Straw was saying. Something about old peoples life's being devastated by acid house parties....How the hell did he come to that extreme conclusion?

Honestly it's unbelievable how the media was reacting to the dance scene back then. I'm surprised the media wasn't calling these acid house parties, meeting places for extremist terrorist organisations.

All people wanted to do was dance for christs sake. Talk about a 1984 George Orwell nightmare.

  • history in the making and we made it

  • All we wanna do is Dance!!!:(

  • I remember the first time the police kicked off in blackburn, it was down on whitebirk, loads of people piling out of the fire escape whilst being truchioned by the police. i lost all respect for the police that night

think it was same night the guys at sett end had passed out a letter on the door letting people know the police had no right to stop them entering the parties once they were set up and running etc,

think it was titled "no organisation or no bottle?"

  • WOW. Just WOW.. nothing in East Lancashire will be like that again !
