And even then, more important is how smart you, and how well you space your character and their attacks in relation to the stage, your opponent, etc. DSF does all of those better, therefore he won, and would continue to do so if they repeated this match up infinitely.
the best member of DBR is King, he has the best or second best jigglypuff in the world and is one of the best team players (mango might be better) and then DSF

Look at bombsoldier, ken, isai they are really good but zel has just a good timing and a fine techniek to watch. His moves are fun to watch because they look really hard to use. TSF moves don't look that hard because sheiks moves aren't that great to watch. If zel was one of the best players he should have won from many players. Even bob money defeats him. Zel is good but far away from best.

My opinion is, that DSF Got lucky. Zelgadis has no doubt mastered the character. Forget the wave-shine. The only other Fox I can think of that'd be better than Zel is Javi. It's not that he is just perfecting basic tech like wave-shine, playing without isn't even hard, it's a matter of predicting and mixing it up. Commiting yourself to too many play mistakes lead to game losses. DSF is overrated. Bombsoldier and Russel Persons (Lucius), are on an entirely different level.
zelgadis is too busy mastering wave shine and make sure he makes it perfect every time, but when it comes to playing stright forward and also smash attacks zelgadis got owned on that term, it was a good match, good shit ace

Wow, Zelg got owned. It looked like Zelg didnt want to try any risk while he was in the middle of the stage, but he was ready with the shines on the outer parts of teh stage. Whereas DSFrisked everything in the middle, but nothing on the outer. Zelg's technical skill is great, but DSF's fighting skill is better. If we were to see Zelg utilize DSF's fighting style...he'd be the scariest player to fight. (Same with DSF using Zelg's technical skill)
having mind games is a little like playing rock/paper/sisscors. You don't know waht the opponent is going to do, you simply have to guess they know what you're doing and hope they don't know what you're doing. Of course there's human intervention in the gameplay, I'm not saying there's not, but there's always a little luck involved in ANY complex game. You can't possibly account for all the factors.
zelgadis' fox definitely has more skill with chaingrabs, and shine spikes. Dsf just managed to trick him out though, he won him out with his mind games.
Oh wow... DSF really does deserve the title of being the best person on the DBR crew; being able to beat Zelgadis with Sheik and then at his own character... Wow... Zelgadis wouldn't have come as close without that shinespike in the beginning.
zel needs to throw some smashes and hit the guy instead of trying to push the person off the stage

Zelgadis is very technical. DSF is very scary. Mix them together and you get Zeldesifidis. Scary 0.0. Zelgadis > DSF. Dsf got lucky.
