@heartlessvietboy It has nothing to do with X-rays! It's not at all the same thing.. I dont know if you're trying to be funny but your comment is irrelevant.
I just found out from my doctor (one of the top doctors in the world) that I can't eat a lot of oil from now on, or fat. I had to cut meat from my diet, which makes sense because I can't digest fat like I used to. Please let people know out there that we are prone to heart disease now if we continue to eat fat, as we don't digest it. I was told I could get heart disease within 3 years if I continues to eat oily foods. I should have rid the gallstones naturally, and yes, it can be done!

I'm going to school for sonography... Isn't it illegal to perform an ultrasound without gloves on? I'm not trying to be a smart-alec, I'm just being honest.
Why do Americans tolerate giant insurance companies acting as middlemen between all their doctors and their patients?
Why do state governments not recognize that the huge lobbys (and Republicans) are there to block any direct doctor compensation... and so are killing the poorest Americans who can't afford medical help? Seems a no brainer to the rest of the civilized world. Incredible.
Thank you. I had a an abdominal comlete ultrasound this AM and was given a cd with the visual results at the hospital. This production really helped me understand.
Excellent description. My 1st attack was at age 36 but infrequent 4 and 1 half years the attacks came every week. I had my gallbladder out in July 2008 with 2 large stones.
1) Great production value. Some incorrect material. Gb wall abnormal at 5 CENTIMETERS??? Yowserz!
2) Get those patient's arms UP to increase rib space windows....geeze Louise!
3) Lacy, you must be careful with blanket advice of "accurate' measurement of GB's in transverse view as a GB that is not aligned horizontally will overestimate your measurement UNLESS you angle correctly to bisect the GB itself at 90 degrees according to what is shown on the sag GB image. :O)
You have your hepatic art and bile duct reversed in the porta hepatis transverse image with arrows. Also, it's always more accurate to measure the gallbladder wall in transverse and you did in sagittal which can give a false positive thikened wall. By the way, its considered abnormal over 3mm, not 5. Otherwise it's informative.
Very helpful. Have been told I have stones, and I think it is getting worse. The pain is terrible every day after I eat, doesn't matter what I eat. Very helpful,THANKS A LOT.......
i have been to see my doctor with abdominal pain and he said it was mt gall bladder after a series of finger jabs to my fat gut but he said i need a ultra sound so im worried it may be worse im curios how your problem turned out
I am 18 years old and found out that I had gallstones when i was 16. is is possible that i was born with them??? I have no desieases..i have never been pregnant or anything.
Thank you for uploading this video. It is clear, acurate and precise. Perfect for revision.

I think the Sonograph machine is just an X-ray machine. They just scan anything. There's no clear explanation for what they are doing.

It's not illegal to refrain form using gloves. Some places still do it. Old school Radiologists sometimes prefer no glove.

Excellent video! It should be >5 mm Gb abnormal wall ,not 5 cm.
WindGod12 1 year ago
@WindGod12
at 4:47 in the video, the transverse diameter > 5 cm is in reference to the gallbladder itself, not the wall.

Good specific info on this painful topic.
--- Luckily I'm in Canada, so most help is free.

get it out before you have to get surgery to get it removed. If you get it checked on time they can brake the stone with sound.

Thank you for this video. I had this procedure today. At the moment I am in great pain.
I will not know the results of all my tests, ultrasound and blood work for 2 weeks.
Again thanks for helping me to understand what my tech was doing.
