I have been subscribed for a few days now courtesy of Dan the man and i have to say i am really enjoying your videos. Your truth and honesty about your lifestyle is very enlightening. It is helping me in my transition into raw foods. 6 months ago i did an overnight transition but fell off badly because of lack of preparation and understanding. Also i wasn't in that place that you are now. Now i am using a gradual approach and doing it for myself rather than obscure reasons.
I agree, it's best to focus on your changes and allow your own example to inspire if it will, but not impose. Imposing will make you miserable. I see raw fooders preach their ways like religious fanatics, some who make it a personal job to go around pushing their ways onto others rather than being a beacon by shining their light, which has a greater strength, that which is felt, opposed to that which is reasoned.
Thank you Ka! As always very enlightening. My experience is very similar and I too am at the point where I just accept and try not to change. Lead by example is what I practice.
This was a great post. I had to smile, as I remember reading in one of Victoria Boutenko's books about how when she first went raw she upset so many people. She said she was literally chasing ladies in the grocery store to tell them about raw foods! One of her 12 steps to raw foods is titled, I Love You, No Matter What You Eat, so I'm certain she is right with you in what you said at the end. Tolerance and respect, our world needs so much more of it! Thanks!
Thank you Ka - great advice, particularly about the insight of not projecting outwards too much in the beginning. Instead keep that energy for yourself while making that transition. Lead by example. : )

When I first started on my journey people were skeptical and asking all kinds of questions.
Now a lil over 2 years later folks ask me how I did it so easily and what they can do.
Far from easy was a challenge that I have really enjoyed.

Were you scared the first few months?
What kind of reactions did you get from people?
Thanks. Great vid.
