I do believe this was in New Orleans, Louisiana.  Sometime in the early to mid '80's. Thank you PBS! I had this on a Beta max tape and then VHS tape and wore them both out. Wow.... what an incredible display of musicianship and virtuosity. I sobbed uncontrollably when I heard of the passing of Stephane Grappeli on NPR years ago. There will never be another one like him!
