  • Jim was by no accounts an a- hole just a free spirit who didn't give a damn about anything in the sense that shit happens move on and live life didn't dwell on issues like depressives do is this girl a transi ?

  • Haunting.

  • but they sadly destroy people who have

  • drugs give aura of genius to people who have none

  • Nico was a mess, and by most accounts Jim Morrison was an a-hole. You even get that picture of Morrison from the movie. Morrison was not much deeper than the bottom of the bottle.

  • @johnnystaccata Jim Morrison was an eternity and global class performance artist, singer & poet--continually and inspiredly creative, influenced by the great nineteenth century French Imagist poet Rimbeaud--whose genius you are too dull to fathom. Jim was the archetypal pure artist and apostle wouldbe practitioner of true artistic freedom likely driven to the bottle etc. and an early grave by the refractorily uncomprehending reflexive repressions of convention addicted hack subartists like you.

  • @johnnystaccata That's the way the movie portrays him, but Ray Manzarek, the Door's organist said that he was not like that at all. They just showed one side of Jim, the one that he was famous for. It's a good movie, but I'm gonna take Ray's word over Oliver Stone's for how Jim was.

  • @jimmeecrazee Nico was also a Junkie. She lived fairly close to somewhere I used to live , this was in the late eighties. She was a mess. Still, an artist as you say.

  • Most people here are talking about Jim. Is it my understanding that most Doors fans don't know anything about Nico?

  • You can read the transcript of this entire interview here:

    smironne.free.fr/NICO/rrr.html

  • I bet they got along real well..They wouldve been like two alpha people hanging out and discussing ideas

  • The First time I heard this, was the first time I heard Nico Speak (I just downloaded the Audio & had headphones on) and I Swear to God her voice scared shit outta me. Totally wasnt exspecting to to sound like that.....She sounds demonic!

  • @jimmeecrazee

    U are absolutely right!

  • Oh man.. Is this really Nico? Wow..

  • if you want to know about Jim and Nico read the book "No On Here Gets Out Alive"

  • translate in french please ?

  • Here she comes...

    Nico was AMAZING!

    Beautiful. Esoteric. Tragic.

Could you have a better woman?

  • from my point of view and jim morrison's fan i think oliver stone could do better, but you should keep attention to what they say in the whole movie...when Morrison(val kilmer) say i describe my self has a sensitive and intelligent human been but with the soul of a clown that sometimes want to get out, they describe jim in the negative point of view, even patricia play the role of all the jim's affairs but the people who really follow him we can see that movie in different perspective if him

  • i have an opinion!

  • I dont know much about Nico, exept a few videos and the elevator part of oliver stones movie, but that part is probably a piece of shit like the rest of the movie! THAT MOVIE IS A DISCRACE TO JIM! FUCK YOU OLIVER STONE! JIM HAD MORE THAN 1 SIDE OF HIM! He wasnt always a drunk! Just 75% of the time! And he still wasnt that crazy! But it seems like Nico and Jim really connected! But Jim REALLY loved Pam!

  • i agree 100%

  • Movie is total failure.. John Densmore said in his book that Oliver Stone never knew Jim personally maybe they studied together at UCLA but they had never been a friends. Stone spend 60's as marine in Vietnam war.

    He totally disgrace Jim image..

And one more thing in movie before concert in New Haven Patricia was not with Jim when policeman spray him in eyes.. it was just unknown female fan.

  • @Burek170 bullshit, eveyone is in denial about morrisons life,he was a great performer but also a drunken asshole unfortuneatly the movie depicts more of the negative side

  • Comment removed

  • Yes YES YES. That movie sucked dick, Kilmer didn't like, Machlachlan (Who played Ray) Didn't like it, noone except that COCK OLIVER STONE LIKED IT.

  • I'm Italian :( I don't understand nothing!!! :( sig sig..Please Help Me to Translate!!Thanks.^_^..but I love JIMMMMMMM!!...my love..

  • Jim Morrison is a true king.

When Kurt Cobain was in highschool he said he wanted to join the 27 club with Jim and Jimi

  • According to the people closest to Morrison, he was a big poser and a drama queen.

  • ....people love to play with the words drama queen don't they? u fail to realize...there is a big difference between full of life and emotions and being a fucking baby....jim...incase u haven't figured it out...jim was just trying to get people to wake up and think.....on the philosophical side of life

  • Jim was brilliant, but pretentious.

Sorry, but I don't think of Jim Morrison as a philosopher.

  • lol...thank you!...lizard king, him and his lame trying to be indian mountain spirit shit!...wanker!

  • He made some beautiful music but he was so pretentious.

  • shut the fuck up man! Jim acted like an indian because thats one of the things he loved! and the indian incident when Jim was young was probably true! you will never be as smart as Jim Morrison! RIP JIM!

  • love. this. comment :)

  • @desertshore Agreed!

  • sure...the kid next door acts like batman too...but then he grew up...someone missed out on that part here...cheers...

  • dhillon85, why do you even come to doors and jim morrison videos if you hate jim so much? your a fuckin retard! all jim did was stick to his dream and write poetry! your the fuckin wanker!

  • for starters...youtube is free navigation...and that well entitles me to watch which video i choose to, and leave an opinion thereafter...i genuinely wanted to watch a Nico interview...and much like every movie you watch, you don't always enjoy it now do you!?...

that explanation enough for you...or do you need a "poem" to explain it!?...

  • and i was also just curious to get more into the head of a jabbing retard like nico...who lost her shit, screamed out "i hate black people" and stabbed a black back-up singer near the eye...leaving her nearly blind, and then was shipped off to france by fellow buddy in indlugence andy warhol!...that's a little history lesson for you, who knows little bout' nico...

so the next time, you bring you're insane worshippings to the table, i suggest you get an education!..."retard"...cheers

  • listen cocksucker, im not talking about nico! Im talkin about how your talking shit about the best poet ever"MORRISON"! so eat a dick and shut the fuck up:) "fuckin idiot"

  • easy tiger...there's plenty of porn available on the net...go get a release...looks like you could really use one...and then hop over to a book store...and try discovering a little bit bout' actual poetry!...

and if you consider Morrison the "best poet ever..." there's really little left to say to shit pot like you...so cheers...

and chant for the "lizard king"...lol...

  • I was after Nico's head also, but I'm curious. Why are you researching on this ...ghost?

  • @dhillan85 everybody fucks up. but not everybody get scrutinized like famous people. If you look hard enough, every one of us has a horror story like this in our past. doesn't define her as a person and certainly doesn't make her music any more or less valid.

  • @MattyStevensonBishop sure, everyone fucks up...dunno though bout EVERYONE having some such horror story...besides, there are plenty of times when one outburst is enough to define your core as a person...its a potboil of thoughts, mentality, etc...it doesn't make her "music" any less or more valid...it does however make her martyrdom in pop culture stupid and in terms of developing trends toxic even...do agree with you on the ridiculous scrutinies that the famous go through though...

  • @dhillan85 why do u say her ''music'' in quotes like that? implying that what she did wasnt music? her personal life is one thing (none of our business really),but millions of people still listen to her. so i think that makes her ''music'' more than valid.

  • I strongly disagree with you calling Morrison pretentious.. do you know what pretentious means?

  • Damn Heroin, got Mr. Jimmy!

  • Jim's not dead, just takin a time out.

  • I've heard he's living in some condo in Paris called "Pere Lachaise".

  • Fucking Jim was afffected everyone he knew.

  • jeeesus ! looks like "the ring" girl!

    ghosty as hell

I hope she isn´t there now

  • her voice is hypnotic! weirdly - otherworldly

  • thx for this video. nico was a very important musican in my growingup years. after the vu she started a very experimental music, very much forward in the time. with john cale as producer and friend she made very inspiritual albums.

i had the pleasure to be in the 80s in one live concert of her - it was just great. chelsae girl, the end, drama of exile - these are my 3 favorite and very excellent albums.

you never can know nico, but you can feel her!

  • go DOORS

    go Velvet Underground

  • Not a single one of you know what you're talking about. You just comment away, like you have some inside knowledge about her. YOU DON'T. Just saying.

  • Nico was a Warhol girl who he put in the Velvet Underground (apparently Lou Reed hated her) and had relationships with Jackson Browne (when he was sixteen), Bob Dylan etc... she was beautiful and I loved her music. She spent too many years as a heroin junkie unfortunately (and shared that with her young son sired by Alain Delon (big big film star in France). Maybe she inspired Jim??? Dylan wrote a song for her, so did others. She must have had something more than beauty.....RIP Nico, I love you.

  • @foxandscout

No Reed did not hate her. He often fought with her, but they apparently were a couple for atime.

  • She was in the Velvet Underground..... duh

  • lol.

  • @queenfan2408

Technically she wasnt in the Velvet Underground she just collaborated with them. Thats way they were called The Velvet Underground & Nico.

  • @queenfan2408

    no she wasn't

  • @queenfan2408, I suppose you can say that, I mean Yoko was "in" the Beatles for a little bit too.

  • What happened to the sexy nico that blew Jim in the elevator in the film...I like that one better!!

  • she never existed -- that nico was an oliver stone-created myth,

  • is that a joke?

  • @desertshore you're an idiot

  • i kno ay!

  • she became a bit of a druggie, but when she was young she was very beautiful

  • @standardspolice

My gawd, you are soooooooooooo stoooopid. It's funny. And sad at the same time, what a common idiot you are.

  • @standardspolice actually she was hot back then i don't know what you mean

  • @standardspolice

That's not an accurate account of how they met. Oliver Stone should have done his research better.

  • @standardspolice Young Nico is hot. and the doors movie sucks. Watch when your strange, narrated by johnny depp. waayyy better.

  • @SmackeralJoe

That's why The Doors movie is a MOVIE and When You're Strange is a DOCUMENTARY. Imbeciles.

  • @standardspolice

Worse portrayal of her I've ever seen. If you like women that look like fish, good for you, but that's certainly not anything like the real Nico.

  • footage is fucking creepy!

  • I read in a Jim Morrison biography that Nico and Jim really connected - their relationship worked on so many levels, even though it was for a short period of time... Most interesting thing was that Nico saw Jim in Paris two days before he died, but was unable to say anything to him as she was in a taxi... Makes you wonder "what if" had she been able to see him...

  • song writer

  • Nico: "He was my star brother"

  • soul brother

  • Nico and Jim were spiritual soulmates. They could totally relate to one another.

  • Nico looked like she was dead and wondering through the afterlife meanwhile Jims image was showing through the bushes in the afterlife strange but good indeed and by the way she had a deep voice but very cool and sexual.

  • Shes completely mistaken about the year;in 1965 Jim Morrison was still living on the roof of an abandoned building. The Doors first album was released Jan 67'.

  • Hi Smolley, no way

  • Its true..he was homeless and two years later he's on national television.

  • she has a deep voice

  • Highly interesting . . . thanks a million

  • A fine upload - thanks.

  • He cuts her off right when shes about to say something deep about Jim Morrison. What a jerk-off.

  • Awesome!

    Thanks for posting!

  • sure thing!

  • ya and you know she wrote the song 'you forgot to answer' for him, dont ya?

I love nico and Jim.such big influences in my life.Amazzzzzing post Jim!

  • no, i did NOT know that song was about him! it's certainly one of her starkest ones...i think much of her post-60s stuff was inspired by jim, as well as her son. she and jim were insanely creative people, i can see why you like them, there are too few (that we know of) like them around today...

and thanx for the vid compliments, dara, still tryin' to iron out the channel glitches, so MUCH appreciated :)

  • The pleasure is entirely mine.=]

  • i actually thought of this 'staring at the sea' ending after watchin' ur pamela vid ;)
