this kid is obviously "profoundly gifted"! That means 1 in a 10,000. What it also means, and what most people don't understand is that his mind, interests, emotional profile are all very different. His mind is above small talk, social etiquette etc. Most children like this do not taste success as he did, they lose hope in the school system which miserably fails meet their academic and emotional needs and end up failures. I am sad to see this. World, please know that all IITians are not so socially awkward. At IITs you really meet some of the brightest/smartest kids who are more outgoing and socially stable than the stereotype that some sources might suggest. This video here is just an exception.

Such an awkward interview...the kid never even speaks. Honestly I'd rather stay a 95 gpa kid and actually have social skills than get that 100 gpa and be the worlds smartest student just for the sake of being smart. I doubt he'd be able to start a business because of his awkwardness and lack of life experience. Why couldn't he react to a single question? He seems like he's a prisoner of his own mind and the pressure put on him by his parents and teacher and it's sad really.
