in the studio they fix it up cuz people spend hours recording and they tweek it but when its live its real and live obviously and they r playing for ages and it gets hot at concerts and so yeah your not gonna sound 'perfect' like ur ready-made katy perrys

so they play this song on a local rock/metal radio station that I listen to. To give you a little backround on this station they play Metallica, AC/DC, Slipknot, System of a Down, Avenged Sevenfold, Nickleback, Five Finger Death Punch, etc. I don't completely like all these bands My point is, I don't think they should play this band on the station on account of their genre is a little too emo-y for my taste. One of the radio guys even said they are emo, but whatever. I hate the singer's hair!

Because, twotyme, this is the GuitarHero generation.These guys look cute, have a few tattoos on their arms, so they can sell a few records to 11-16yr old girls.

I'm not saying they don't have potential. I acutally enjoy some of their other stuff. They definitely risk being a "one more" band, complimenting the growing number of college boy bands who I can never tell apart.

Nixon's vocals (when he's not completely flat, as in this performance) are slightly more recognizable on the high notes.

Do you know how hard it is hitting those notes and not having to stop right in the middle to catch your breath? Unlike when your in the studio you cant take breaks, and you really have no idea how hard it is.

Check out any of Fair To Midland's live sets, Dance of the Manatee is a good song / example, check out the notes that singer can hit. If you are going to be in a touring band then you should have formal singing training and you should be able to give it your all to the fans and hit every note -- That's the bottom line. Of course it's hard! That's the point! It takes tallent, dedication, and training -- none of which these guys have. Do it right or don't do it at all. Such dissapointment.
