I have a cat, and I love her very much, she is close family to me and to lose her would be like losing my sister or my father or mother. However, this does not sicken me despite the fact that I love all animals (excluding some people). That is because it is CGI, it is fake, and not real. Had it been real, I would not have been so happy. But it is quite obviously not real, for there is no blood/gore. If I know something is not real, it doesn't sicken me.
