Forgot to tell you the cam. It's a Sony HDR-SR11, way overkill for Youtube, but makes good film. I watch this stuff on a HD TV, after burning it to a Blu-Ray disc and the quality is amazing

How long do u take to learn to fly ducted fan? It looks pretty hard.

Only hard to fly them off a 20 foot runway..lol No they are not that hard to fly, but the biggest thing is their stall speed. If you are going too slow around a corner, they will roll over and crash. A lot of EDF's are underpowered for their weight, but stuff like that F18 are very light, and glide well. The starmax F18 is a good first EDF, but even before that, get a stryker and get used to pusher thrust

Is there any difference between Exceed, Nitroplanes and Starmax? Any difference in planes, quality?

Not sure, only had the Starmax one, I've heard the Exceed is good, and nitroplanes just sells someone elses, not sure whos it is.

Great video, the F117 kind of looks surreal in that b/w environment. Did you use the stock trans/receiver? That F117 really performs!

Thanks a lot, Surprising how much power comes out of the flat exhaust slots, you can see them in a previous video, I"ll post it as a response, at the end of the vid, just showing it. No, I bought it off ebay, and he took a whole 15 bucks off for rx ready version instead of RTF. I wouldn't ever use an RTF radio again, just put my dsm parkflier rx in it. Like to get some open sky behind it a bit next time, the black just hides with tree background.

No, I wanted 10' WIDER and 30' LONGER. It's already 10' by 30' and I want 20' by 60'. All that aside, Ronin landed it with about 6' and at River Road, if you remember, I landed in about 5' with my patented Harrier landing. lol!

Thanks Youtwoba, sure looks cool in the air. I would have loved for it to have retracts but little tough for space wise. You could have the rears turn and lay flat and the nose wheel maybe you could cut a bay. Love the flat thrust ports out the back, and surprised it works so well.  Just got a scorpion motor for my funjet, gonna put 4 and 5 cells in it with that, will be crazy

Thanks Taz, found the 117 the usual place, ebay, was reasonable too, 185US rx ready, just add rx and it's up. Think 35 for shipping, flies very slow, huge wing area on the bottom, and sposed to fly inverted well too, hadn't tried that yet. Just more trick landings lol CD is doing good, I should let him fly it, instead of yapping so he can concentrate :-p

Nice vid. That F117 looks awesome in the fog and snow. I bet it was hard to tell which way it was heading!!!! 18 below here so I'm gonna stay in and get some sim time for my Honeybee FP that I am attempting to learn. Can't wait to see the rc truck stuff you shot.

Thanks Mark, ya was a little stealthy at times hahah. The cold sucks, as you can see we have to deal with fog right now, and still snow left all over. Truck stuff was cool, might make a channel devoted to land based vehicles, but I'll post the stuff I got here
