Saw Johnny play a couple of times at different venues. He's always such a charming singer, almost shy as he approaches the mic but there's confidence and strength in his singing voice and lyrics.

I think his artistic side shows fully in the choice of videos he produces. Always charming little animation or neat ideas.

Johnny Flynn is, himself, an artist, on top of many other little side-careers he seems to have, I've seen quite a bit of his work and it leads me to suspect a bit that the video is his work, if so, I say the video is a million times more personal than any produced, filmed, created by another person.
