  • Hello,

one question: what's the link between drawing and sound on card? horse is ma. On the card, horse is for D. I found a program on CNET with other drawing. what's the meaning in fact. There are also 3 other same letter in lowercase. I suppose for _`´ etc

    thanks to share your joy

  • Nice hair!

  • Hey Lady, you ROCK !!!!!!!....

i just started learning Pin Yin and this vid really helps me...i downloaded it so that i can watch it offline...

haha...betcha wanna get paid for those downloads huh?

if only i could master that damn "z" and "c"...lol...

i'm gonna keep checking back to see what else you post..

    thanks..

    :)

  • I have some trouble pronouncing "C" and your explanation is very helpful !

    Thank You !!

  • ts=C

  • is there honestly a difference in the consonantal articulation between sh- and x- or is it the difference in how the two symbols are used in anticipation of -i and -u (umlauted)?

  • you are so0o cute!

  • Thanks for your video again. I practiced the "z" sound for hours until I finally got it stuck in my head. But the "c" is quite a challenge..practice makes perfect.

  • I think I'll subscribe to your videos. Namely because you're beautiful.

  • Laoshi Diana:

Xie xie so much for this lesson!!! These are two friends of Nicolestar194's writing. She is a Chinese girl and she tried so hard to teach us Pin Yin, but her lessons could have been better(lolz).

We just wanted to say how amazing your videos are and how much we learned!!! Xie xie!

    Zai jian,

    Two Friends

P.S. Now, Nicole is coming into the room, so we better get off quick!

  • Hi all. I am trying to learn pinyin etc, but have no intention to learn the actual characters. Is this a big mistake if I ever go and live in China for 6 months!? I would say.....yes.

  • ...

You LEARNED English? As in, it's a second language for you, studied in a classroom?

Jesus Christ. Ummmm....mission accomplished. I don't think I've ever heard a native Chinese with a more natural accent.

  • oh dear, yup, english is indeed my 2nd language, but i did have the unfair advantage of having my mom teaching me the basics of English when i was a kid, also, english has been my primary language ( i hardly get to speak chinese now, only a few friends and some co-worker) for more than 10 yrs, thank you for your compliment! ;-) d

  • You sound so cute when you read the letters and how you change your voice "Buuoooah...Guuooah...Tuuuoooah" Cute! :P

  • Some of them are very unfamiliar to a western speaker, hard stuff.

    Whatsoever, well done, again.

    Subscription is worthy. ;)

  • 伟大 的 母亲 养育了 伟大 的 英雄

  • What does that mean? I mean I know what it means but really what does it mean? You know it's weird I've never quite understood the actual meaning of propaganda type messages. ;-p Being born and raised in China I guess I'm a bit cynical about words like "hero" and "greatness".

  • ni hao mah!!!

thanks for the teachings, dian! 5stars plus a subscriber!

  • Muchas gracias! :-)

  • Nin hao laoshi Diana! Thanks again for another excellent video on pinyin. You have handled the pronunciation of the consonants plus vowels very well. Although I have heard these sounds so many times, I still have to struggle with the proper pronunciations. I hope to get by this stage with your help soon. Zai jian laoshi! Warmest regards, Lee KS

  • Yipee! Glad to be of help. Good luck!
