  • Isn't it funny how everyone from the Barksdale crew and Stanfield crew were always looking for Omar but couldn't find him but the cops found him in a blink of an eye. The writing slipped up in this part of the story. It should have been more coincidental, like a traffic stop or something, this arrest is totally out of character for Omar's normally allusive persona.

  • oh, the the dude with the cap is the real life Omar!

  • i think those two guys got themselves arrested on purpose just to go to central booking with omar on butchies order.

  • Walker is like fuck the rules! He's the Marlo of police.

  • its such a sad scene for omar, especially at 4:40 onwards you see the scared look in his eyes when butchie's two men enter the room carrying a shank, even though hes putting on a front hes still powerless and looks like hes shitting himself and it almost makes you feel sorry for him and that's why the wire is amazing

  • Is it just me or does Omar look like P.Diddy in that mugshot?

  • I fucking hate Walker

  • Talked back? How'd he get arrested for that shit???

  • @tahthedon 22-55 is talking shit to police.

  • What kind of beer does omar get?

  • @ndndrunk looks like a 'HURRICANE HIGH GRAVITY"

  • Felony homicide...the worst kind.

  • the guy who hands him the knife is actually 1 of the 3 real persons Omar was based on.

  • 3:57-3:58 LOOKS LIKE fat face rick or one of them co-op dudes

  • Comment removed

  • "Some kinda democrat or what?" what did that cop mean by that?

  • @wtg2989 democrats are generally typified as more lenient towards convicts

  • God I hate mustache nazi street rip guy. I hate him so much I don't even care to know his name.

  • officer walton? isn't that the guy who michael and co. dumped a bucket of paint on

  • "About time somebody got paper on that motherfucker!"

    Absolutely classic!

  • shitttt all those people he jacked

  • Did they purposefully get arrested so they could help Omar?

  • @efs120 Probably cuz theres no way for Butchie to get word to them when they're on the inside in that little time

  • @LeBronForTheWin cours there is.. jails are full of smuggled phones.. and these dudes pull one out later so omar can phone bunk

  • shiiiiiiit, Omar don't scare fool

  • "oh you gonna take that off a homo"? is that what omar says when walker takes his ring?

  • @fyckthissht No, he says "Oh, you gonna take that on the humble?"

  • @fyckthissht

He said, "Oh, you gonna take that on the humble?"

  • @fyckthissht "on a humble"

  • See the guy that comes in with the shank wearing the Kufi cap, he is Donnie Andrews a REAL Baltimore stickup man but is obviously now reformed and helps troubled youths. Omar Little was based in part of Donnie Andrews and other real life Baltimore stickup men.

I think it's brilliant they used Donnie Andrews like this.

  • The phone call that saved his life.

  • Guh, fuck city jails.

  • I would have loved to have seen the look on Bird's face when Omar walked in. Talk about priceless. That would have been the best cameo in the show.LMAO

  • @jmagic1986 HAHAHA oh shit, I didn't even think about that. That would be priceless.

  • The best character in the history of television.

  • OMAR COMIN' YO!

  • it's cool that the guy holding the shank is "Donnie" - the guy that Omar's character is based off of...he also gets killed in Monk's apt in season 5 when Marlo's crew turns a planned ambush on them against Omar...

  • aaaaaumaaar little. got to love the accent of Jay.

  • Oh Boy sho whatin popular in the joint, he robbed soo many peps from the street that he didn't stand a chance behind bars. Just think he was a snitch and gay but a stick up kid at the same time, Go Figure...

  • the wagon came fast as shit

  • If they only had subtitles for all the trash the prisoners were talking to Omar.

  • even though he doesn't have his guns and is scared for his life he still puts up his hands and is ready to fight like a man.

  • 0:36 LOL at the way he says "No known abode"

  • what is a 2255???:{

  • @myaangeline apparently it's a motion that federal prisoners may file to challenge their convictions and sentence. so he was probably at a federal prison before then transferred there pending the outcome

  • @kantstop42 oh ok i didnt know what the hell a 2255 was:}

  • Now thats a baltimore accent

  • Who I kill?

  • the one fat dudes face behind omar at 3:58 literally looks like a big mean dog, i actually felt horrible for omar here.

  • "I talked back." Reminiscent of how police deal with 'smart talk' by sending backtalkers to prison and Marlo sending the security guard to the graveyard. It also shows how the streets "police" themselves.

  • @minusthebarsblog good shit, i've watched that seen for years and never knew what he meant

  • the guy talking at the stART is a real baltimore police. and a jew. like munch.

  • Jay Landsman!

  • The cops should stop messing with Omar. He's better at taking drugs from dealers than the cops are. The cops too busy beating teen boys half to death.

  • omar should like jail since hes gay. There are alot of guys who would toss his salad

  • Omar act like he mr. innocent ,he has murdered people.

  • @veeseee128 there was a bounty on his head.

  • what is a 2255!!

  • Officer Walker is such an asshole; he reminds me of Officer Tenpenny from GTA San Andreas.

  • LMAO your so correct on the comparison. I wish he would have end up the way Tenpenny did.

  • that ring is bad luck everybody who had it got done dirty fat face andre murdered marlo robbed omar robbed officer walker robbed lmao

  • Come to think of it, you're right. But Andre got knocked off after he gave the ring to Marlo.

  • yeh it skinda funny

Marlo took it from Andre, Omar took it from Marlo, Walker took it from Omar, and Michael took it from Walker

  • @randyv71

    what about Mike?

  • Makes even more sense sense that Michael ended up with it though. Walker was out of line, and Michael gave him what he deserved.

  • its cool, but is beter for ps3..

  • 42 958 6612. and let it rang

  • 4:43 Death walks into the door Omar puts his hands up. That was what I liked most about Omar when he spoke he had something worth litening to, and when it was time to act he didn't waste a movement.

  • That cop is the one the hoppers lay yellow paint on right?

  • the wagon man is ears the cop from southwestern district

  • 4:51 isnt he the undercover cop on the show OZ?

  • Comment removed

  • it's a US code

A prisoner in custody under sentence of a court established by Act of Congress claiming the right to be released upon the ground that the sentence was imposed in violation of the Constitution or laws of the United States.

and remember when omar see him later, he asked him about it. and he said 'i got out, didn't i'

    lol

  • i thought the wire was based on a real story if the guy in the hat is the real life omar at 4:39 is the real omar in the wire he got popped so then in real life omar doesnt die

  • that guy is one of omar origin in real life. just that he ain't gay, is married & have childrens.

omar has been inspired by 3 stick up boyz

  • The guy in the hat at 4:39 is the real life Omar

  • how u know

  • david simon says so in the behind the scenes dvd

  • yea you right

  • you gonna take that on the humble!!

  • straight up b more

  • The ring changes hands..yet again. From the most hardened criminals...right on down to Officer Walker.

  • and then to hopper in training Michael to be witnessed by Marlo himself. Wonder what happened that rinfg in season 5.

  • Mcnulty knew that shit wasnt right, Omar don't stick his gun on NO1 who's not in the game

  • LOL. Every officer knew who Omar was

  • wat kinda jail lets u were street clothes?

  • Well Im Thinkin It Was Just Processing

  • well what jail lets them walk around freely like that...its not cuz those dudes had been there for a while. i was in a holding cell till they put me in orang...

  • fuck the police, if he didn't have a friend in butch he would be dead

  • 5:14 - "I talked back" - D'you know what this means?

  • @kandinskyforfootball

Presumably talking back to a police officer.

  • Poor Omar he was scared for his life.

  • @DASHAUN06

Omar scared? I never thought that possible. But then I saw those prison thugs and realise that just about anyone woud be scared. Even the dangerous Chris (with Snoop).

Oh, and with police like Officer Walker walking the streets. Now that's scary.

    F*CK YOU Pig Walker!

  • @MrRebuttal lol if u wanna see Walker owned, type in "the wire michael officer walker"

  • @DASHAUN06 omar dont scare

  • @DASHAUN06 It's kinda funny you say that. Remember in season one when he was at the the police station giving information on Bird and he said "Omar don't Scare"

  • @DASHAUN06 i mean who wouldnt be two big dudes walk in one has a shank, you can easily get overpowered and killed, i think omar had a legit reason to be scared but the dude was still gonna fight

  • The scene where Omar is confronted by Butchie's associates is one of my favorite moments in the series. I love the way the actor simply acknowledges their arrival and puts up his fists. A man must have a code.

  • that nigga Omar bout them hands
