As one of my favorite shows, season 8 was disappointing. It was a good season but it was no finale. The only thing I was really happy about was the very end; the last half of the last hour. *spoiler for late comers*Having Jack sign off after saying goodbye, with Chloe there *end spoiler* was a good way to end, but the season as a whole was too anti climatic for a series finale.

I saw an interview with Kiefer Sutherland just after season 7 ended, and he said that he had a contract with FOX for another two seasons. I know that here's been a lot of talk about this being the last one, but this is one of FOX's biggest shows. Roll on day 9!!

Yeah, that's what I thought, but Jack ain't taking any crap from him, for all we know Freddie could be toast by the end of the 2nd hour. Remember Nick Chinlund as one of Tony's cohorts - dead two hours in, and he was a fairly recognisable actor, in bad guy roles usually. Can't wait. Roll on January 17th!!
