You can't reverse getting grabbed from the back and even from the front I don't know a true way to always shake them off. I usually just press the general amount of buttons and it shakes em off...

@svm2 its automatic, the back is irreversable but from the front the only way to shake them off is to have a little bit of health left. if you do. you'll free yourself. if your health is gone, your dead. :) i like this game..so i know quite a bit bout it.

@TheMultigigabowser u cnt but if they do hvy attack infront of u and grab u will automatically fight back. (Depending on health status)

Plus Aliens vs Predators isn't the most hardcore balanced game out there. It has its moments of stupidity just like any other game.

Indeed. I usually dont use them unless I'm at half health and this is after I started using them more often now lol.

I don't wanna get on your ass or something, but, you hardly use the Health Shards for the Predator

It depends on what platform your on. The 360 has you using the Directional Pad and I believe Ps3 does something similar. The PC version has buttons for each of the preds weapons. Do remember you have to find the predators weapons on each map before use as well.

HOW DO YOU USE A SPEAR OR ANY SECONDARY WEAPON?? I can´t even fire secondary weapons, whatever I do never works

For me since I'm using 360 I hold down the left trigger and look around till I can find a spot to jump at. Then I press 'A'. Basiclly just hold down the focus mode button (depending on your console just go to the controls options) and press the jump button when you are ready to jump to that spot.

Well first off you cannot ever break out of a grab from the back. However when they grab you from the front, you have to have more then 1/4 your health, and usually I just press all the buttons on my 360 mainly because to my knowledge there is no specific button.

How does one break out of a Grab?...I've seen it done I just could never figure it out.

Thanks for the comment! I sometimes like to play stealth as well. Though I believe learning to mix the two is usually when you get a badass predator. Without disk spammage of course.

I play both. It depends on it there are more marines or more aliens. if there are marine's I play more stealthy. Aliens get the rush play out of me.
