This song brings tears to my eyes.... I swear I cry everytime I hear it. just a little. The end gets me. "Just before my dad gave up the ghost, he said son, that was twenty years ago...." I know that this may not be the right words, but.... This is such a emotional song. I just love MG, they have such meaningful songs. I wish more people could hear the beauty of their lyrics....

Reminds of my dad, I left home after High school joined the Marines dad didn't talk to me during basic or my 3 combat tours in Iraq. I got a letter one day saying he was proud of my and 3 weeks later he lost his fight with cancer I was the next AC130 out of the sandbox. Looking back at the past I'm everything like my dad and I proud of the life he gave me and I can only hope he's proud of my and the path I choose
