well my idea for jak 4 is that the dark makers have found the "core planet" of all precursor power and have taken it over and its up to jak and daxter to save the precursor's homeworld. cause think about it the precursors made tons of planets. how come jak's has to be their homeworld. think about it. it could be any planet.hate it or like it its a good idea for a final jak game(oh also you cant use dark eco abilities because you'll be corrupted so instead you get combat light jak abilities

You can talk all ya want, but TLF is not actually counted as the 4th game. Its just a crappy side game made by the wrong people. And just for future reference, Jak and Ratchet games will NEVER be on the XBOX360, Sony seperately owns those characters.
I have read that Jak 4 is coming in 2011, however thats the only info I know. I know its not much to go on but I do want to believe as much about that as you do. All we can do is wait and hope my info does come true.

All hail! Naughty dog! I hate High impact games. I watched a whole walkthrough of the newest game and I hated it, the whole thing was terrible and was colored bad.
There will be a Jak 4, Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier....will be for PS2 and PSP, rumor is that they will come out with another one later (by Naughty Dog) for PS3. And just by the way it will not be made by Naughty Dog for PS2 and PSP, it will be made by High Impact Games (creators of Rachet and Clank). This is proof and there are many places to find more proof. Check on a shopping website like Amazon or you can check on GameStop, perhaps Gamespy.
It won't be for PS3, just PS2 and PSP. And it's not being made by Naughty Dog either which sucks cuz they're working on Uncharted 2. But luckily they said after they finish that they might go back to J&D and make a new game for PS3

I was thinking what if Daxter met his younger, former self in Jak IV? I mean, there's got to be a story of how Jak and Daxter met. Plus, it'd be mad funny to see Daxter's reaction to himself! Like maybe they're out doing a mission in Haven City and they notice someone who looks familiar and it's Daxter but they somehow transport him into the past where little Jak is or they have to go back into the past to fix something that could disrupt Jak's desitny (Like on Misty Island) or something.
It'd be really fun to see Sandover Village again (other than a glitch in Jak II) and I know all the fans would enjoy it! Plus, there would be a good chance to fix up the Jak's Uncle plot hole. (Remember him?). I'm just spitting out ideas because I'm pumped for this game!
well, jaks uncle could be an older version of jak... first of all, go into sandover village in jak and daxter: the precurser legacy and stand next to jaks uncle. now compare the clothing. ok the pants are a different color, but the t-shirt is the same and the coller is the same..... just a thought lol :)

Well, if Ratchet And Clank made it this far then i am certain that Jak will make it, anyway if Naughty Dog does not make the game then it will be there own fault for not making like well..... Jak X isn't jak 4, X is not a 4, not even in Roman Numerals. If that were so then Daxter would be Jak 2 It's combat racing anyway, totally different gameplay and a different storyline. I was thinking what if Daxter met his younger, former self in Jak IV? I mean, there's got to be a story of how Jak and Daxter met. Plus, it'd be mad funny to see Daxter's reaction to himself! Like maybe they're out doing a mission in Haven City and they notice someone who looks familiar and it's Daxter but they somehow transport him into the past where little Jak is or they have to go back into the past to fix something that could disrupt Jak's desitny (Like on Misty Island) or something.

It'd be really fun to see Sandover Village again (other than a glitch in Jak II) and I know all the fans would enjoy it! Plus, there would be a good chance to fix up the Jak's Uncle plot hole. (Remember him?). I'm just spitting out ideas because I'm pumped for this game!

well, jaks uncle could be an older version of jak... first of all, go into sandover village in jak and daxter: the precurser legacy and stand next to jaks uncle. now compare the clothing. ok the pants are a different color, but the t-shirt is the same and the coller is the same..... just a thought lol :)

Actually, the game is set to release for the PSP and PS2 and possibly the PS3.
Since all the other Jak games are on the ps2, I guess they're paying lip service to it.

Well, if Ratchet And Clank made it this far then i am certain that Jak will make it, anyway if Naughty Dog does not make the game then it will be there own fault for not making like well..... THE BEST OPPURTUNITY, just imagine Jak And Datxer in High-Def, i guess about thousands of copies would be sold so alot of money for Naughty Dog.

Jak X isn't jak 4, X is not a 4, not even in Roman Numerals. If that were so then Daxter would be Jak 2 It's combat racing anyway, totally different gameplay and a different storyline. Could Jak 4 = Story of Jak becoming warrior Mar? And if they make it for PS3, it better be for PS2 as well, and it better have the same game features as PS3, none of that extra missions crap for the better system.

why the heck are there so many ratchet and clank games and only 3 jak and daxer games. i mean cmon jak 1,2,3 were the sickest games ever. personally i didnt like jak x. and with ratchet and clank i liked number one the best and then number 2 and 3. but seriously why have they released so many games? there better be a jak 4!

it sais "An epic journey comes to an end." And in the end of jak 3 you find out that jak is Mar. So i don't think their will be a jak 4 because their isn't much to find out in the game. Besides

It definatley won't come out for 360 because naughtu dog has been with sony forever.(same with isomiac) So all the 360 fans who think they automaticly get all the great games are wrong.And im pretty sure it wont come out for ps2 because it wont be able to suport all the detail.Like ratchet and clank future

that cover definitely looks fake. first of all, in Jak 3, Daxter gets shorts/pants at the end of the game, unless this is a 'flashback' game

Okay, first things first, that is DEFINITELY a fake cover, that picture is a render from Jak 3, and has been out for ages.
