These guys are awesome. I visited them twice, unfortuntely they don't do much for the 986. They are amazing with pulling huge numbers out of the turbo models. Glad to see them doing the NA as well now. I would love to get a 3.9 into my 986

i just had the best epiphany of my entire life! when i first saw how much hp this car had and the engine size i was VERY impressed then about half way through the vid i glanced up and saw that it was naturally aspirated! that completely astonished me! sharkwerks you guys have done great things with this car! and i was even more amazed when i put it all in perspective the gtr has a 3.8 with 2 turbos and gets 490ish this is doing it without the turbos think about it like that!!!!!!! OMG i <3 S.W.

@MlTCHB not really, US octane ranking is a bit different to EU and AUS. US 93 octane is equivalent to europian 97-98, which is premium quality.

i have an old 911s that i put a 3..6 rs with webers yielding about 350bhp. my car weights 2200 lbs. with shortened gear ration. i get my adrenal rush every time. i can only imagine what it would feel to drive this monster. absolutely stunning.

For me this is by far the best sports car in the world, there's nothing like the sound of that flat 6, just magnificent. But there is one thing that bothers me, the optional PDK transmission, in my opinion a true sports car should have a normal six speed manual transmission, it's more fun, but apparently the PDK allows the car to accelerate faster (a human being cannot change gears as fast as the PDK) any opinions from porsche fans and owners out there? Btw, thanks, its a very nice video :)

PDK transmission is not available on the GT3 / GT3RS. They are currently only 6-speed.

I totally agree with you on the PDK... So far no GT3 release has had a PDK trans. Ours is and will remain a 6speed manual. The engine doesn't allow for mating with the PDK (thankfully!).

We did a few things to handling/braking (minor) but remember it comes from the factory with some amazing adjustability and proper coil overs. We did change the spring rate and got more cooling to the brakes (cup ducts).
