The story of Cuban-Americans is so inspiring. Having grown up in Michigan up north, there is a tendency among many to lump all latinos together, that they are all somehow Mexican & want to come here under less than legal circumstances, never learn english, send all the money they make back to Mexico, and do nothing to make Mexico a better place so fewer Mexicans come here (that wind up doing the same thing). I have a tremendous amount of respect for people like Marco Rubio. Viva Rubio.

I won't comment on what Mexicans think of the U.S., but I know that Cuban-Americans view this country as a savior.

One supports it. One doesn't.

I've never heard a Cuban living in the United States refer to their homeland (or Miami for that matter) as a "banana republic" or label its fellow exiles as "fascists."

-Property tax reform

-Felon voting

-The stimulus bill

-TARP (which is very different from the stimulus)
