I'd say the intro sits on a Eb Minor Chord for the first bar and a half then goes to a Db Major Chord for the last half of the second bar.

What makes it funky are all of the syncopated rhythms.

Chord Structure:

Eb...................Db

(1,2,3,4) (1,2) (3,4)

Eb - Gb - Ab - Eb

(1,2) (3) (4) (1,2)

...Db - Bb - Ab - Gb - Eb

But again it's all in the funky rhythm...Sorry I don't have time for a tutorial video but hope this helps a little bit!
