  • London is a place, within my heart soul and life.Battersea is my home where I grew, to be taken away by my parents who had split up. I still go back I still recall I cannot forget,it's how it is,no matter where I may be

  • How British society has changed. What a shame, with all its faults I think it was a better time then than now

  • The roller is on Chelsea Bridge. The trains are crossing Grosvenor Railway Bridge (then being rebuilt in 1967). Below Battersea Power Station is Battersea Park station where the tracks seperate. Those veering east on the viaduct are to Brixton, whilst the train followed in shot (from Victoria) curves right descending towards Clapham Junction. Oddly 'The Junction' itself does not actually feature in the opening titles.

  • @trettfilms I'd argue it's a classic british film of the period - this & poor cow demonstrate tha nell dunn was a great writer with skilfull plotting and a real eye for detail. Very much an artefact of it's time, but none the worse for that
