Well I don't like her. When I say 'Hate' it doesn't mean her personally, Though I dont like an awful lot of what shes showed me. I don't want her to be next in line if McCain is elected President. I also dont like the fact that he only picked her in the first place to try and gain Hilary's votes. I could go on and on about why I don't like her, but I wouldn't want to waist my time here.

Actually, I do think that her decision to give birth to Trig, who cannot help but be an emblem of her pro-life convictions, has angered people who are vehemently pro-choice and want women to be able to have abortions for any reason they choose, at any point in a pregnancy, especially if the fetus is diagnosed as having special needs. Actually, I do think that her decision to give birth to Trig, who cannot help but be an emblem of her pro-life convictions, has angered people who are vehemently pro-choice and want women to be able to have abortions for any reason they choose, at any point in a pregnancy, especially if the fetus is diagnosed as having special needs. Not the focus of this vid, but since you asked: Fewer than 1% of abortions occur after rape. 6% are listed as health issues, and that term is often stretched (U.K. has aborted kids for cleft lips). More than 93% occur because the parents don't want to be bothered by a child. I know from personal experience that there are thousands of couples lined up to adopt kids from foreign countries for thousands of dollars, and these unwanted U.S. kids would be snapped up in a heartbeat by loving families.

You really have it wrong. NO ONE THINKS THAT PALIN SHOULD HAVE ABORTED HER BABY - she chose to have her baby and that is great. No problem. Isn't it great that she has the choice to do so. She may not have thought of it as a choice (that is okay, too), but it was a choice. Palin is not respected as a viable vice presidential choice because of her lack of innate knowledge about foreign policy and domestic policy. She did say no to the bridge even though she first supported it (before she became gov). When Kerry voted to fund the troops before voting against, y'all said that was 'nuance' and 'intellectual curiosity.' She never said she sold the plane on ebay, she said she put it on ebay, which is true (I think McCain said she sold it at some point). The report found she has broken no laws, although it stated the state ethics board rules were violated (1. I read it; 2. Why is this an issue just now?). Etc.

Progressives dislike Sarah's crazy ideas like the Iraq war being "A task from God" and "Gods Plan" and the fact that she can't recall one newspaper or magazine that she has read. She never says the Iraq war was a task from God. She encouraged the congregation to pray that whatever is done in the war would be God's will -- for them to pray that whatever the U.S. does overseas is in God's plan. There needs to be a distinction made between children that are not "planned" and children that are TRULY "unwanted."
Go out and meet a few pregnant 13 year olds with a crack head mother and an imprisoned father, read the stats and realize that despite what their CHOICE is about the pregnancy, without intervention they are bound to get pregnant again before the age of 17.
Try focusing on the REAL problem. Arguing about the legality of abortion is a red herring.

especially when income is hard enough for you and your family say you know you have to work a full time job go to college and cook dinner clean and pay a babysitter at 13 14 or 15. But it's still a life no matter how it got there. A living being. I used to think like you until I talked with people who have suffered their whole life regretting their descision to abort. One said she had been sold a lie. I worked as a missionary and saw people bed ridden with guilt and remorse...young and old...raped or not. Some situations were horrific. But taking an innocent life never solved or took away their trama. Only prolonged and added to their sufferings.

If Trig were born to a low income family, conservatives would say "too bad, but we're not going to help pay for the special education and treatments this child requires." I am impressed that she stood by her believes and didn't abort her baby also she knew it has down syndrome.
But that's hardly a qualification.
For the real reasons I don't like her:
- she fired people for personal reasons
- she thinks it's god will to build a pipeline
- her foreign experience is living in the state nearest to russia (Has she even been in russia?)
And this has nothing to do with her stand on abortion. So please try to keep an open mind.
Even the president can't ban abortions.

to Jaga or something like that, I have a special needs baby, so go a head and get sick about what they say about working women, that baby needs his mother, as for the children at home, one is pregnant. You are probably upset that you do both and never get a chance to relax. Why don't you help the Palin's who could use all the help they can get because Mommie is not home. She is busy worrying about war with Russia.

They hate Palin and attack her family because they are in the outer darkness. The faithless and lost are not happy to be reminded of the reality of their situation. I pray for them that they learn to love and let go of their bitterness and hate. I believe that on some level they feel horrible shame when they see Sarah's choice to have Trig and that makes them feel guilt and that makes them angry.

Perhaps you should pull your head out and focus on things such as the economy or the war which is leading to the death of thousands of our young sons and daughters. She might be keeping him, but she passes him around like a hot potato. Her daughter has him more that she does. She was back to work in 3 days. I've only seen her hold him for photo shoots.

I'm about sick of people who discredit women who are strong enough to work AND raise children. So much for equality for the American woman--I bet you would have opposed the Suffrage movement too, if you had lived 100 years earlier.

It's wonderful when people with means decide to raise a special child. I absolutely respect that. Actually the reason I hate her is because she's a hypocrite. She made a choice, but she doesn't want to allow other females--even raped children who aren't living such a privileged life--to do the same. I find that hypocritical.
