  • so fing boring

  • how do u program it?

  • capacitator = cap + pacman + tater

  • Capacitator or Capacitor?

  • 0:36 ow! Goddammit!

  • White= signal wire

    Red = positive

    Black= ground (negative)

  • A fully automated gun system, sounds interesting. You can make a lot of useful applications for it. For one, hunting rats in the house.

  • is there any way to do dis without using the the circuit board.i hav 2 make my project and i cant use circuit board kit in it...

  • Jesus Fucking Christ that minicontrolot kit is like 99 dollars...

    Screw this

  • is there any way to speed up the reaction time if someone ran accross they might not get hit

  • thats badass!

  • awesome bro!! great motion sensor!!

  • You guys, have you guys considered motion-sensor claymore mines?

  • i got mine today and it is awesome! it is very sensative and works great

  • MisterGamer43, Claymore mines are already motion dected.

  • They've also got tripwire variants, which are by and large far more common. Or were, as of the last time anybody cared to rig up claymores on a major scale.

  • good for campers ....brings two markers.... and leave the auto-fire laser mod watching your back : P

  • 70$ wow hell no thats to much

  • damn your cheap!

  • how many feet apart the gun does it work?

  • ULTIMATE LAZINESS lol

  • Hey its capacitor not "capacitater" but its a cool vid!

  • A great way to steal your X7 :D

  • nice vid!

  • well as people get used to this whole idea and steps there might eventualy be a paintball turrent that might be easy to set up

  • like sentry turret? :P

  • That is great, but you should work on getting the gun to move with the five shots.

    For Instance:

Laser in the middle, gun starts shooting left to right between the laser.

or you could hook up multiple guns to the same sensor.

    Great Video

  • he looks like a guy with no life lol

  • you could just take apart a motion detector and wire it up to a motor. but you cant program it... how much was that kit? i want it lol!

  • That would be hilarious..:F

  • OK 1st, You guys fucken Rock!!!!!!!! Hell yeah, Long live the true American independance!! Fuck the dirty lazy piggs!!!

  • AWSOME!! FAVORITE! *click!*

  • seems like theres a bit of a time delay that would make it not work if they were running. maybe the audio on the video was just off though

  • That would be really hard to make work during a game, but nonetheless that is one sweet idea.

  • that's cool

  • Alan! Pop that X7 E-Grip open and you'll find that you can actually interface with it electronically instead of using a servo to actuate the trigger. I've done the same thing (using an Arduino instead). FYI, I found that you'll need more than 5mw laser for use in bright outdoor use at more than about 10 yards.

  • what paintball gun do you have?

  • how much was themicrocontroller kit? and u got it at radioshack? cool i need to pick 1 up. i have a kit with basic electronics but i wanna microcontroller that would be so cool.

  • you can let is open a gate or a door

  • could this work with airsoft gun

  • does an airsoft gun come with a trigger? ^^

  • yes

  • this is gonna take a lot of thinking to understand.... but good video

  • how much?

  • why r u so technologically literate?

  • YAWN

  • that was cool i can do it just wetr do you get all the stuff and how much do it cost?

  • your sounds messed up

  • y r u watching this anyways?

just stfu and enjoy the video or

    go fuck urself

  • get a life

  • wtf you talkin about? he has a life and dedicated it to electronics and educating other people. you dedicate you life to being a douchebag

  • lol nice

  • that book cost $80 so if any one want to know where to get that stuff around your house just subscrbe to me and ill tell you

  • Thanks for this, it has helped me purchase the necessary parts. I'm wondering how you made it so that the laser needs to be pointed at the photo resistor for two seconds. Does it have to do with that servo thing you programmed? I'm powering a basic DC motor, so I don't think I have that option. Nevertheless, I am almost ready to make the motor power a nerf gun trigger! It's so sweet. :)

  • u just told the world how to kill some one with a real gun with a sencor lol u dont even have to be there when they die

  • lol so technically u didnt kill them

  • lagy video

  • nice tutorial what book are you using ?

  • dude i made a sweet fort and that would go perfict in it

  • that's awesome! put a ton of leaves around it for camo in a ton of trees and it would pwn!

  • thats pretty cool i was going to make a laser airsoft gun but there are some flaws with the laser that cant be over loked. 1.the laser points out were the gun is 2.its hard to setup fast. my soulution to this is to use a motion detector which dose not use visible light and can be hidden better

  • how did u make the motion detector? i'm just now getting into building these things so i have come by anything like that in the books i'v read so far, and yes i did this to and i couldn't even manage to get it set up considering how rough and "hillY" my woods are

  • MAN THAT WAS NASTY LOL nice job!!

  • seems cool. would you sell it???

  • No. I have the same problem with WMM.

    I use ULEAD Moviestudio 8

  • yeah, try maybe adjusting the sound/video, and there is no problem. instead of quiting, fix the problem...

  • How about figuring out how to get a video in sync first?

  • According to YouTube's help section, the video is out of sync because they don't have the codec I used to created the video. IDK, just edited the footage in Windows Movie Maker. Any suggestions?

  • A cheaper way to do this is with a stock Ion. Run the wires from desired motion sensing device into where the trigger wires would be in the board. Then program the Ion for 3 or 6 round burst max.

  • The same can be accomplished on the E-Grip on this paintball gun. But who wants to ruin a gun by permantently attaching the device.

  • You don't need to solder, some markers don't have the microswitch soldered to the board and instead are connected by wire/plug(a fine example is the tippmann e-grips, some spyder e-boards and macdev markers).

You can easily build a wiring harness to insert between the trigger and board and never ruin anything.

  • i have the same homework kit and used the same idea to get my 12yr old intrested in microcontrolers. i love that you realy did it and cant wate to show him.

  • Be careful! In many jurisdictions this would be illegal. If you're even thinking about using it as a booby trap of any kind, be aware that that's _very_ illegal.

  • Yes, I guess people could do some very illegal things with this. But for me its all about the paintball game :)

  • Fair enough. :-) But even for paintball it has the potential to be quite dangerous -- what if the ref calls a ceasefire because someone has their mask off? What if someone accidentally puts a finger, or a temple, directly in front of the barrel (since presumably the device will be camouflaged)?

  • Well for the time out a remote cutoff... And as for getting to close, that's a risk that all paintball players face. However, your commments have made me think of ways to use it more safely

  • you said the middle wire is ground, it's not ground!

  • Ok, I thought it was used as a ground... What is it used for... So viewers know...

  • Center pin on a servo is always the power supply

  • Thanks for the clarification. So no one is confused, the video shows the correct setup, I incorrectly called the VSS the ground.

  • Great Job, I can see this being useful in woodsball or capture the flag.

Is there any way that you can set up two lasers set up away from the gun aways that way you wouldn't have as much as a time delay?

  • Sure can, but I think the time delay you are seeing is because the audio and video are out of sync. At any rate the microcontroller checks for motion 10 times a second. This could easily be speed up to 100 a second or more if that is an issue.

  • nice..
