i know the feeling of getting that first dog... the dog u actually get to care for 100%... i was 23 when i got mine (July 2nd 2010) but mine was a 4 yr old puggle... and i didnt have as high pitched voice :)... My dog is a Puggle... i have videos of her if u would like to view them :)

I don't think it's a good idea to give a puppy like yorkie,chihuahua,shi-tzu or other than that to children...It's better to offer a beagle,a labrador or a golden retriever...The little dogs become agressive when they are with young and energic children,they are not make for that.
