I think it would really be better if you could use that translation instead..as we have such a hard time from haters saying, Look, see what ur Qur'an says, it says this n that bla bla..
I'm so fed up with mistranslations because ppl get the wrong idea, & I'm not saying that the translation I have mentioned is perfect, none of them r..but I think its much better than Yusuf Ali's and is a more up to date one.
Salaam alaykum, I agree with shrshr2007. Why don't you use the Muhammad Muhsin Khan & Muhammad Taqi-Ud-Din Al-Hilali translation? I think is much better than Yusuf Ali's one..I think I evn heard Bilaal Phillips mention about Yusuf Ali's translation, and that there r quite a lot of mistakes.
Jazakum Allahu hair, but our brother is right, and we are, in fact trying our best to make the most correct translation of the Qur'an's meaning, and our brother shrshr2007's comments are very much appreciated, as are yours.
This is also why we make Tafseer Ibn Katheer so accessible, so that viewers look into it. Also, we can only do our best, it is well-established that no translation of the Qur'an will EVER be perfect, that's why this is only a translation of the meaning, and only what's being recited is the Qur'an, not the text.
If you read tafsir Ibn Kather, you'll discover the wrong of "the Shakir and Abdullah Yusuf Ali translations."
Why did they change the pronoun "him" to "them"? It's a kind of deformation of Quran's meaning.
Yusuf Ali has many wrongs for his translation.
I told you about the meaning of "الفتنة" as Ibn Abbas (one of the companion of Rasol Allah", its meaning is "POLYTHEISM" not as Yusuf Ali translated>>>>>
Yes, Insha-Allah we will be using a different Qari. We plan on using a very wide assortment of reciters for the Qur'an, though eventually, Insha-Allah, we will repeat some of them.
Allah is severe in punishment

There are many incorrect translations of your uploading!!
193: PERSECUTION, it's not correct:
الفتنة
it means POLYTHEISM الإشراك بالله
as Ibn Abbas (ra) said.
194: ....against him, Why did you change it to "THEM"?!!!!
shrshr2007 4 years ago
(2)
194: ...Allah with those who fear Him, It's not the correct meanings, it must be "...is with the pious"
196: فأتموا الحج والعمرة
Why did you remove the translation of العمرة
Brother, what are you doing with Quran's meanings? Read Tafseir Ibn Kathir, Qurtubi and Tabary to know the true meanings before uploading it.
Sorry, I don't complete the rest!!

The translations in these videos are derived from the Shakir and Abdullah Yusuf Ali translations.

all Tafseer said that, not Ibn Katheer only, all Tafseers supported with messenger of Allah's Hadiths. Read it.
"we can only do our best" OK, but with the right way and by trusted sources.
All of us must take in our attention that we'll stand between Allah's hands who (SWT) will ask us about what we did.

but as I did write, it's not correct, brother.

I made a comment about the audio on a previous video. I am having second thought, I sort of take it back. I guess the audi is not that bad.
