the reason they did it is cuz the truck is being watched by other drug dealers to make sure the drugs make it to the destination, they just happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. it doesnt hurt to pull someone over just cuz of suspicion

They're out there raising revenue. Keep in mind that all Police Station that confiscate anything related to "suspected" drug trafficking or drug dealing get to keep 35% of the booty (booty = Goods or property seized by force or piracy). They are nothing more then Pirates acting criminally. They know that the "numbers" dictate that for every number of stops they make, eventually they'll hit pay dirt. DICE Cops are known to seize property go to the auctions, buy pennies on the dollar and resell.

Heck, the "Heaven's Gate" group, which committed mass suicide, had a website up (complete with their "evidence," etc) spouting nonsense about teleporting to a spaceship following the Hale–Bopp comet. That website didn't make it so. -stewartx5 (comment to me shows how much of a troll he is but I'll let you judge for yourselves). He doesn't seem to know how to spell either at 57 that's rather pathetic!

Police and prosecutors use forfeiture proceeds to fund not only general operations but junkets, parties, and swank office equipment. A cottage industry has sprung up to offer law enforcement agencies instruction on how to take and keep property more efficiently.
