I personally think the song is amazing with or without Kelli. Who cares about their personal band issues, all I know is I love SP, I like more of their post-Kelli songs actually but its not that big of a deal. The lyrics are strikingly beautiful, I love the vocals and the music is wonderful as well. I mean how are you gonna say his voice doesn't fit his own song, I think it fits the emotion perfectly :3

@damthatriver09 Not sure if it's the vibe, lyrics or what you're looking for, but maybe check out "Butterfly Caught" by Massive Attack, "Half Light" by Low, or "Bloodsteam" by Stateless. Much like this song, they always fit the bill for me as far as (dark) vibe goes, if not a nice trip-hop one...at least in the case with Massive Attack.

on a diff note some of this song sounds a little similar to the way portishead produces.. very similar on some songs anybody notice!

Truthfully... for a long time after getting into Sneaker Pimps, I'd only heard Becoming X, and sort of avoided listening to anything else of theirs. Not because I had anything against the band, but after hearing Kelli's vocals... I dunno, I wasn't sure if I'd like hearing their songs sung by someone else.

Hearing tracks like this, though, only assured me that I was worried for nothing. Just excellent.

Strangely, I heard IAMX first, but only "President", which I think is easiest to appreciate when considered apart of his repetoire, so I didn't really get into it.

Then I heard "Half Life" on my Telepopmusik channel, and fell in love with the band, only to discover that they had the same vocalist, which led me to love IAMX just as much.

Chris Corner is one of those personalities that's just easy to obsess over.
