  • do they still have this kind of races ? love the horse tracks

  • if those trees caught fire, when it shot flames. that would be funny as hell

  • my computer is on the fritz. so 12valvepower1 is now 12valvepower4. for now.. than i will be back.

  • One mean 12 valve

  • you guys are the future.

  • @12valvepower1 Ha! Thanks man! we are hoping to get it back running this year, so hopefully we can get some more great videos out of it.

  • i was always wondering how high they rev those built cummins, how high do you rev?

  • @fatharmonix ours runs between 5 and 6K

  • torque please

  • does it have a single turbo or do yall run twins

  • @Twankiejones, good question. Technically they won't allow turbos in the mud races, however, we fought and fought to get a turbo. When we became competitive people started complaining. Anyway, answer to your question is single, they absolutely refuse to allow double turbo.

  • @TNunnelee oh ok, well you have it running good, is it a 12 valve or a 24 valve

  • @Twankiejones That is a 24 valve

  • @TNunnelee Still running the VP44?

  • @UncleBubbles94 I would probably guess its a p-pumped 24 valve

  • It was fayshtailin'!!

  • omg now thats a fast mudtruck

  • Comment removed

  • o lol :D... is that 5.9 12Valve cummins?

  • Comment removed

  • holy fuckin nutsack!!

  • thats crazy man, keep up the great work.

gotta love diesels when they built right

have you tryed running a bit of NO2 thru it to get better fuel combustion?

  • @ 36 seconds. Holly fu$k. Trans break?

  • zmax speedway. april 30th. tarheel diesel nationals.

  • And some people would rather be strokin than Cummin... Until watching this :D

  • holy shit man fast just plain fast

  • WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • that thing fucking shits and gets lol i want it

  • did you see that??? it was fish tailing!

  • Awesome !

  • @ truecountry it's better to be a Cummings then a power stroker

  • them EGTs must through the roof. pistons are gunna melt. but still sweet when that baby spooled up

  • What kinda power is that setup putting down ?

  • @Boomer8404 I really could not say, we have yet to have it dyno'ed. We are still working on getting the engine running right before we take it to be tested. We debated having it tested, but we are making so many changes each race to try and make it compeditive. Once we have the engine perfected, we will definitly have it tested.

  • @TNunnelee hey im just curious, why is it a cummins, but had a 5.9 360 on the scoop and a 450 on the door?

  • @GMCman82 that is because 5.9 is the litre engine, 360 is cubic inch of the engine (or 359 depending on what who you want to believe) while 450 is our racing number. (There is also a Case International Stieger 450 tractor that I think we chose to number our truck after). We were glad they let us pick our own number, they used to assign us a number like F6 and G4.

  • @TNunnelee yeah i know the 5.9 is a 360, and i thought the 450 was your number, im just one that dosent assume, id rather ask so im not confused with one of the many teenage web wheelers that are out there who dosent have a car other than what their parents drive. i just didnt know if the cummins came in a 5.9 or if it was a custom build. either way you cant go wrong with a cummins they are the pinnacle of diesel engineering with superior reliability and design. cant wait for the 1/2 ton cummins

  • @Boomer8404 ---Who cares in the end... Read the last phrase in the video... See ya at the finish line!!!!! LMAO

  • kid "i would be afraid of that if i was a tree" -awsome

  • fuuuuuuuuuuck

  • holy shit.

  • bad ass truck man you cant beat cummins power

  • @truecuntry hell yeah

  • hey i have a question i am thinking about putting a cummins 5.9l into my chevy same as urs it is a stepside k10 i have already put 1 ton axles in it and it currently sports a 550hp 454 bbc but the motor is going into another project and was thinking of going to diesel power can u give me some advise?

  • all i got to say is damn lol

  • im a chevy person fuck the fords but if i had to take a dodge i would

  • that thing is bad

  • the kid is hilarious

  • I'm a Ford guy, but dang, that truck gave me goosebumps when it took off. Keep it up dude

  • @zemmy1985 Thanks man. If it makes you feel any better we are ford guys too, we just have more experience with the cummins diesel engine. We have done quite a few Ford conversions where we place a Cummins engine in a Ford body.....just a great combination.

  • @TNunnelee I agree, stickin diesels in 1/2 ton trucks is a wicked combination. I don't know what the size comparison of the 300 straight six and Cummins is, but a Cummins in a 80s Ford stepside would be great

  • @TNunnelee A Cummins engine in a Super Duty would be the perfect truck in every way. I would buy one for sure.

  • @TNunnelee Yeah I'm a dodge guy but fords are nice trucks' and cummins are awsome engine's. Nice job!

  • @TNunnelee Im not a genus but I think you should give it a little less fuel and a smaller turbo or turbine housing, cause that thing rips when the boost kick's in!

  • @cameron947 its probably a 12 valve and when he punches it wide open it takes it a minute to come up cause of all the fuel in the cylinder the pumps putting in there

  • so much flame coming out of the pipe so sick tho

  • Cool truck! :D

  • THATS AWESOME!!!

  • Incredible truck. I love that turbo whine right before he blows through the trees.

Are you tunning a single turbo, or twin-setup?

  • unfortunately we are only allowed to run a single and they hate us doing that. The gas burners are not allowed to run a turbo, but we have to, in order to be competitive. Did you also notice that the smoke turns clear right before we take off? Thats when we know its time to go!

  • @TNunnelee im guessing thats cuz your making enough boost to finally burn all that fuel.... i just wanted to ask if you build your own motors or if not who deos?

  • sbchp54,The motors are built by Chester Hensley of the Diesel Shop in Eudora Arkansas. I am the one that talked him into letting me film some of his incredible creations and mud races. It is a blast just being around him watching him work.

  • @TNunnelee the gas guys can stuff it .

  • Now thats bitchin!! I LOVE THIS TRUCK. when is the next race season and where?

  • Well it will be sometime next summer and called the rcca mud racing. You can find details at iracemud.com. We sat out this season, but we should be back next season...we will be posting on youtube when we start testing again.

  • "It was filllsh tailin!" Priceless.

  • wow man i gotta say i've watch this vid about a billion times and i wish my truck had a tenth the balls this thing does.... kinda want to steal it an see how well it does in the dunes, i want specs and how much fuel does it burn in a run.... my god im almost speachless great truck

  • wtf? :O

  • kick ass

  • duramax cummins or powerstroke? its so badass man good work

  • That would be a Cummins. Duramax and Powerstroke are both good engines, but (in our opinion) they can't hold a candle to Cummins. We like a Ford truck but the first thing we do to them is pull the engine and put a Cummins in there. Such is the case with our pull truck in the Civic Center tractor pull clip.

  • holly shit dude that thing is f ing fast!!!

  • BAD ASS

  • thats a badass diesel and i hate diesels no offence. but this one really sick! good work dude!

  • Thanks man! We have ran gas and alcohol, figured we would give diesel a shot. I have to admit we have had more fun with this diesel than the others.

  • @TNunnelee I love that dude, I'm in the marines right now, going in for LWV Mechanics like working on the hummers and such, all diesel, and once I get out Im building a Mud truck with a Cummins straight from the ground up.

That truck must set you back in your seat a shit load eh ? ;) hahah

  • that turbo is going to blow

  • clue is a fun movie.

  • Math must be hard

    102.1mm bore

    119.9 mm stroke

    359.42695951053656 ci

that is 359 no matter how you round, unless you round wrong

  • Stroke is right, but thats not my bore.....not sure if you noticed this not a stock engine. Surely you don't expect me to give all my secrets out.

  • @pelletr1 what if it was a 119.95mm stroke, or 102.146mm bore? does it get that precise?

  • Nice truck

  • How many horsepower ? Twins or single charger?

  • Don't know for sure how much horsepower, we have yet to test it on a dyno. Its a single due to the racing regulations we had to fight just to get that.

  • that thing is dirty!

  • is it a 12v or 24v?

  • it is a 24v

  • how many hp?

  • @TNunnelee wrong button

  • holy shit what rpm's is that thing hittin?

  • A W E S O M E.

  • when r u guys gonna out to the sheridan mud track again? i been dyin ta see that truck go around the track

  • just to let you know any real cummins guy knows its not a 360 if i were you id change that before to mny comps where people well call you out hand down tho its an awesome truck

  • Good observation! However, we did our math on the cubic inches of the motor, and it did come down being over 359 cubic inches. So we were trying to decide to use the decimal points and round up or not.....and we think bigger is better, so we rounded up to 360, but yes if you do not use the decimal points, in figuring your cubic inches, it is a 359 cubic inch.

  • 360 looks better anyway...

  • it dose but it makes me think of a gas job :P

  • holy shit..... AWESOME!!!

  • that is the only way your gonna get those rpm numbers on a cummins diesel.

  • Can we say P-Pump? Awesome truck!!!

  • is that a 24 valve

  • Yes it is!

  • That thing is makin alot of rpm

  • 6Bt i presume,how much nitrous?do u run them over the 1/8 mile.cool truck

  • the little kid int he back ground is funny as shit! "did you see fire comin out them pipe?" ahahaha

  • O....M....F'n....G.....WOW! VERY nice!

  • are you fucking kidding me! dude come to ny and show these guys how to run because that thing is a monster!

  • ha ha ha, thanks man, would love to do it but NY is a little far away for us...but you never know...once we get this thing tuned just right we might start making enough money to do some traveling. Thanks for being a fan!

  • it sounded like the kid on Talladega nights

  • just loadin up the turbo...

equal to a drag race car on the line b4 the light turns green.

    very impressive!

  • what the hell rpm's is that thing running??? jesus christ is that thing have some ridiculous acceleration.... on dirt!! haha put some slicks on it n take it down the 1/4 mile!!!

  • Yah I'm wondering what kind of revs it's pulling too, sounds wicked!

  • What do you use for trans?

  • bad ass!!!!!!!!!

  • i love your truck chester! that thing is badder than king kong!

i hope you did well this season! having diversity in the field makes for more interesting racing,...let the haters all eat dust.

  • Yea I Got To Build Me One Of Them Truck Just With A Duramax It In. I Like The Cummins Power To Tho.

  • awesome man, just awesome....

  • The headhunter is going to be hard to keep up with...you are doing a great job. The sport needs more folks like yourself that put in the hours and money. Kick AK47's ass for me when you get a chance!!haha

  • that has to be the best diesel mud truck i have ever seen.

  • all i gotta say is DAMN lol Dana 80 rear, Dana 60 front axles?

  • It would appear it is a corporate 14 bolt and a dana 60 or 44

  • thats cool ,,nice rig she really comes to life!

  • Diesel power!!! Go get'm man!

  • Comment removed

  • be rdy to hear the gas cry babies... good luck

  • Man I hope so! The more they cry, the better I am doing, ha ha ha.

  • i just read the thread on compD, i hear your running some n2o also. i guess its going to take some work to get a diesel to reliably compete with gas/alcohol trucks. might consider ditching the n2o go with twins and loads of water. seems to work for the Pro Mod pullers.

  • That would be thing to do but its taking an act of congress to get them to let me use one turbo. I am learning that there is quite some difference between my pulling motor and my racing motors. Thanks for the comments and keep viewing!

  • yea those EGTs are a little high, do you run water? or is it against the rules?

  • Yes, I do run water, but having a tough time getting this diesel to take it. Engine just does not like it.

  • Chester, Truck looks good, sounds good, I think your going to show them what a Diesel can do. Good luck Ray

  • Thanks Ray! I am going to be contacting you soon...I have been so busy lately

  • KICK ASS!!!!

    that thing digs!

  • that thing friggin MOVES! ive seen this truck on the lucas oil "on the edge". I see youve got a little flame in the stack, what kinda EGTs does it hit?

  • hey dmaxking, I am guessing you saw my answer to the EGTs on compdiesel site, but if not, its hitting 2000-2100 which is WAY too high. That is my biggest problem right now. Really kind of winging it on this engine...its different than a pulling engine which i used for the lucas oil show. That engine was designed for power where I am focusing on speed on this engine.

  • Hey what tranny are you running in that?

  • rspeaksup that is a Chevy Powerglide custom built by Costello Racing and Adapter in Kilborne LA. And it is awsome, has been able to handle anything we throw at it.

  • Thats cool I was thinking maybe a 727 Torque flite but I was wrong. Nice to see that Power Glide is holding up for you.

  • I hope so! Thanks for viewing

  • Looks good it's going to be killing those gasser trucks.
