1.Bin Laden didn't get away "scott free", his assets were frozen, he is forced to live in hiding, making life difficult since he has medical conditions. 2. Learn more about history.(namely Hannibal and his attack on Rome) Iraq was an IDEAL location to set up operations in an abstract war. The biggest funding for terrorism comes from Tehran, and Damascus. Baghdad is smack in the middle of both of these places.

1.Bin Laden didn't get away "scott free", his assets were frozen, he is forced to live in hiding, making life difficult since he has medical conditions. 2. Learn more about history.(namely Hannibal and his attack on Rome) Iraq was an IDEAL location to set up operations in an abstract war. The biggest funding for terrorism comes from Tehran, and Damascus. Baghdad is smack in the middle of both of these places.

The bottom line was that until AFTER 9/11 the Reps didn't care about terrorism. Why weren't these accusations coming DURING Clinton's presidency instead of after 9/11? Why weren't they telling him to do more DURING his presidency instead of after 9/11?

Clinton was by no means a saint or a perfect president, but at least he never got the US into an unwinnable war and turned the entire world against the US in the process. Bush's actions have made terrorists way stronger than they were before. This war in Iraq has given Al-Qaeda and other jihadists thousands of new recruits.

After the embassy bombings Clinton launched Operation Infinite Reach, missile strikes on Al-Qaeda targets, and no, contrary to popular belief, he didn't just blow up an aspirin facotry. He missed Bin Laden by thirty minutes. I admit the attack was pretty weak, so why didn't the Republicans encourage him ot do more instead of saying he shouldn't have done it at all?
