How do you propose that these books be ban? There are millions in existence, if there is a program for the Quran as their is for the bible like Esword than that makes it all the more improbable that they will be able to deny us of these. They may ban them but I don't see them having much luck. The word is our sword, who would give it up freely? Not I.

The two prophets mentioned in rev 11 are symbolic of the two religions that are giving prophecy about the end times. Judaism and Christianity. These two religions are witnesses to the third religion Islam. In a latter chapter in Revelations it talks about those that beheaded in the name of Jesus Christ and the word of God. Islam is the only religion that beheads people legally in the 21st century.

yes, it upsets me to hear any of the Prophets of God get slandered. as Allah says, people speak without knowledge, and without the enlightening Scriptures.
I don't think that the Bible and Quran can be considered to have begun prophesying together yet, even though some of us are realising that they belong together, because they have not yet been published as a single book. When that happens, they will really be prophesying together, and perhaps as the result of the great insight that this will provide, it will cause enough unity and rebellion that this will prompt them to ban the finally unified scripture.
i don't think they have to be published in a single Book together...rather, just used and understood and explained together. however, the time period may not have started yet.

your logic and man amde interpretation in regards to the 2 prophets makes no sense at all. Yes Revelation is symbolic but there are things in context that discern what is and is not. I dont know about you but I think its being pretty darn literal saying theres 2 prophets that will prophesy for 3 and a half years then when there testimony is done they will die and the whole world will watch then they will rise and go back up into heaven. it is a Holy Spirit...Holy Angel. Gabriel is a special Messenger Angel whom God calls the Holy Spirit.

I am not Jewish, but I have seen people in the Prophetic. Of course, I have that Muslims have the gift of prohecy too. God does not discern against anyone. It is written in the bible.
i question your interpritation of the two witnesses, for it is writen that after three and a half days, the spirit of life will re-enter them and they shall stand on there feet...i don't feel that these books are the two witnesses, rather two chosen by god to walk and spread the true gospel. jesus, isiah,daniel,etc..weren't books, rather real people chosen by god to speak, for they were of his creation, and could enter them.
the reason the "two Prophets" are actually the collection of the Words of All the Prophets...compiled in two Books...is because Revelation is symbolic. almost everything in Revelation is not literal...although some things are. in the Quran God makes it clear that Muhammad was the last literal Prophet...so the two Prophets of Revelation 11 cannot be people...

Thank you for your email. You are correct the two witnesses are symbolic of two religions and two books. The Old Testament and the New Testament. The Last testament is still to come from God and was not predicted to come until the last days of the end times.

The two prophets mentioned in rev 11 are symbolic of the two religions that are giving prophecy about the end times. Judaism and Christianity. These two religions are witnesses to the third religion Islam. In a latter chapter in Revelations it talks about those that beheaded in the name of Jesus Christ and the word of God. Islam is the only religion that beheads people legally in the 21st century.

I don't think that the Bible and Quran can be considered to have begun prophesying together yet, even though some of us are realising that they belong together, because they have not yet been published as a single book. When that happens, they will really be prophesying together, and perhaps as the result of the great insight that this will provide, it will cause enough unity and rebellion that this will prompt them to ban the finally unified scripture.

your logic and man amde interpretation in regards to the 2 prophets makes no sense at all. Yes Revelation is symbolic but there are things in context that discern what is and is not. I dont know about you but I think its being pretty darn literal saying theres 2 prophets that will prophesy for 3 and a half years then when there testimony is done they will die and the whole world will watch then they will rise and go back up into heaven. Now the dragon, thats symbolic cause there is no dragons.

Hold on you say on your profile your not Muslim (probably more like an Interfaith sorry for label) So your saying The Quran is inspired. Theres a problem with this. Thewre are certain requirements for one being a prophet, and one of them is you gotta be Jewish. Was Mohammed Jewish? and did He speak and come from Israel? The lineage of Noah extends to Abraham and all the jewish people. The office of the prophet was firmly established through the nation of Israel. The Jews werent special but rather chosen to carry gods revelations to all people even Gentiles. Mohammed doesnt do this

God changed Jacob's name to Israel.
so his 12 sons became the 12 tribes of Israel, also called in both the Bible and Quran...Jews.
before Jacob there were not Israelites...Jews.
God also says in both Holy Books that He blessed the Jews more than any other people. but then the majority deviated...which both the Bible and Quran say as well.

i question your interpritation of the two witnesses, for it is writen that after three and a half days, the spirit of life will re-enter them and they shall stand on there feet...i don't feel that these books are the two witnesses, rather two chosen by god to walk and spread the true gospel. jesus, isiah,daniel,etc..weren't books, rather real people chosen by god to speak, for they were of his creation, and could enter them.
i don't feel he would change his methods.

the reason the "two Prophets" are actually the collection of the Words of All the Prophets...compiled in two Books...is because Revelation is symbolic. almost everything in Revelation is not literal...although some things are. in the Quran God makes it clear that Muhammad was the last literal Prophet...so the two Prophets of Revelation 11 cannot be people...

Elijah and Elisha prefigured the Bible and Quran prophesying together. Jesus' 3.5 year ministry prefigured the 3.5 year ministry of the Messenger of the Covenant.

the only thing they are not harmonious about is Jesus' role.
this is because the Bible was altered.
however, most of the Bible, including Jesus' teachings is true and important.

it is true that in both the Bible and Quran a day can stand for a thousand years.
however, in Bible prophesy a day can also stand for one year...which is the case in this prophesy. in Revelation God often says the time periods twice...referring to this 3.5 years of tribulation as both 1260 days and 42 months. by using two descriptions He is showing it is literal. when he says 3.5 days, He only makes one reference to time...because it is figurative...also equaling 3.5 years.

Bible was also written down far after Jesus,peace be upon him. There are purists of all faiths and therefore will persist in expressing that Islam is truth and those who follow are often imperfect.
The part about scripture being banned, I completely agree with and understand to be true. Just look at how people are afraid of Muslims reading Qur'an on airplanes. God's name being banned in public schools while gay children are encouraged to come out and join clubs.

yes, almost everything in Revelations is symbolic. the "two" Prophets are symbolic of All of God's Prophets. God's Prophets are with us today in the contents of His Two Holy Books...in the Words they were given.

I guess I am a little out of touch, so where is this banning of the Bible and Quran coming from? I mean who is pushing it, our government or some special interest group? And are the pushing for both books to be banned in two different countries?
Can't say it will never happen but I don't see it and if it does, then you are on to something. Of course you could be dead before it could happen for being a messenger and all. (just kidding just kidding)

The Old Testament is riddled with oral traditions from hundreds of cultures. Noah, Jonah, Adam, Job and Lot all have very strong connections to civilizations prior to and parallel with the very early Hebrews. Very little of the Old Testament is revelation or new material entry from within the Hebrew culture or divinely inspired.

However, the Old Testament did not have the same destiny. Other cultures, politics of the day and personal aspirations of kings, authors and prophets heavily influenced it. The Old Testament was written as much from the outside of Judaism as from the inside. The actual quills may have been held by the Hebrews but the ideas were not their own.

but the truth is...the demons had mixed truth with ancient falsehood...to confuse us.
also, it is the opposite. while Jesus teachings are important in the Bible, the truth is...it is the New Testament that has been altered, to make Jesus' story similar to Horus.
the Old Testament is the one that is mostly accurate...with just a few alterations that God corrects in the Quran.

Christianity in the New Testament is markedly different from the Old.
Jesus, his teachings & the birth of the early church is a unique cosmic shift with little connection to earlier traditions. Even the fundamental traditions were boo-hooed by the Christians & the mainstays of Judaism.
Christianity in the New Testament as the Bible describes it is very untainted by any prior or parallel input. Later, Christianity became corrupted by pagan traditions but not as it is described in the Bible.

However, corruption crept into the culture of Christianity with Pagan Festivals, Monarchies who claim divine sanction and the absolute stomach turning and disgusting political structure and symbolism of the Catholic Church, which embodies everything that Jesus stood against.

the Old Testament and the Quran are harmonious...it is the New Testament that contradicts. it is the NT that was altered. but yes, Jesus' teachings are true and important. however, the whole "be submissive" to the Evildoers...is not true. they altered it to control people. the OT came before the NT...and the Quran came after. the GOD of the OT and QURAN is consistant. both the OT and the Quran says Jesus is not our Savior.

once a religion is not true...it is false.
this is the case with ALL organized religion. however, there are sincere people who are Jews, Christians and Muslims...and other.
the Quran is true, most of the Bible is true, and God is true.
the Muslims may think that they have the "truth" because they have the Quran. however, the Quran clearly tells them to believe in the Previous Scriptures also...which for the most part they don't...instead they follow Hadiths, which mislead them...

Most Muslims have at least part of the Quran memorized. Many have All of it memorized. How could they destroy the Quran with this being the case? Please think about that.
Also, what will they do with the Jews and Christians who would not tolerate this abomination being done to the Bible? Or for that matter, tolerate atrocity against the Muslims?...
