Look, the problem isn`t the technique, the problem is you speak only with one guy and if you see, before begin they not have attention. One guy with the hands in the pockets, other with the phone, and the girls in other wave. In this situation, you can said... something like "before an applause".. or make something before the trick because this people as a bad crowd. You learn with the practice and years. Good luck
