Got this card for 49 eur...Its an sparkle version.

Came with 550 mhz core clock and 500 mhz memory.

I used nvidia control panel to overclock it and the maximum i was able to get out of this card was 799 ghz core and 620 ghz memory(Core temp after 3h of mf3 was 49 C).Im pleased with the result and it can run all the latest games with medium/high setings.What more can you ask for 49 euros :)

I have a 512mb DDR3 GT 220. My advice:

If you are looking for a cheap but great video card, then you must choose the GT220.F. E:GT 220 Runs Crysis 2 at Hardcore (everything maxed) , but without AA (advance graphics options patch) at 30-40 fps (enough to play it nice and smooth) and in some parts 15-30. Resolution 1280*720 (on a 14" screen) and if you're gonna play games like WoW, or CoD; CoD Black ops at 720p everything max gives stable 35-40 fps and WoW: Cataclysm, everything max stable 60 fps

I 've been using Nvidia GT 220 for a year now, and it runs my games pretty well. I'm currently playing Assassins Creed:Brotherhood on it and haven't had any problems or frozen frame-rates. You shud also consider updating it's drivers every now and then

@Lt2257 yes it will handle fine but to run latest or oncoming games i suggest to get a better cpu like pentium d or (core 2 duo or quad)if you EL1850 can supported C2D or C2Q if not the pentium dual core should be fine but in my experience with intel celeron it sucks for games its only for basic computing

Depends, different types of graphics cards and IGPs handle video differently, you might not notice any difference in watching videos though. Or you might be able to do better image enhancement for the videos and display.

Different graphics can do different types of video encoding work and application accelerating.

I don't see how this is a bad gaming card. I have the card and I can run most games on highest graphic settings with a 45 - 60 fps mark. I run Crysis at 35 fps with all settings at max. So if your a gamer on a budget, I think this card packs a punch.

GT 220 has better "shaders" though... technically.

Really goes down to whether you like Nvidia or ATI more.
